ITURA INITIATIVE: 578/RGB/NGO/OC/09/2019

Trust me, we have all been at some point battling waves, winds and storms in life. We have been in need of a helping hand, a shoulder to lean-on, a comforting and consoling voice. For a fact, quite a number of brethren are still striving to crossover from such, with difficulty. As for you and i, now that the tide has turned, across the bridge, it is moral and a matter of humanity to reflect on that triumph and lay the bridge across which our brethren around the world could transition from the valley of lack to full emancipation.

Itura Initiative, literally meaning giving-back is a charity development-oriented organization, founded on humanitarian grounds to encourage people of the world to give back to their communities, for mutual benefits. Starting from the immediate neighborhood, when you open your eyes, you will see the gap to fill. When you pay attention, you may hear the cry for help. A child is dropping out of school or is at risk of malnutrition. An elder is facing depression due to a long-time ailment or a couple is undoing a marriage due to domestic violence.

Itura is premised on the ideology of repainting the face of earth, nurturing positive co-existance through a symbiotic relationship among humans, fostering multi-dimensional wealth creation and wealth redistribution, from the corridors of plenty to the corridors of lack.

As Itura founding members, we believe that the world is not necessarily poor. That the resources are simply unevenly distributed due to acts of nature and man under the me-and-my-self of the do-or-die capitalism. We believe that willing and loving hearts can tilt this uneven distribution of resources and balance of abilities without compromising the status of the haves, yet positively uplifting the lives of the have nots.
