This week, World VisionRwanda presented findings from an Inclusive Labour Market Assessment conducted under the BLOOM Africa Project, funded by Global Affairs Canada.

The findings were shared during the TVET Sub-Sector Working Group meeting, which brought together more than 80 stakeholders from government, development partners, the private sector and civil society. The meeting was graced by the State Minister in the Ministry of Education as Guest of Honour.

The assessment recommends;

• Prioritising a focused, market-linked vocational training portfolio, including agri-food systems
• Aligning TVET curricula and instructor capacity with employer-identified competency gaps
• Linking entrepreneurship support with access to finance, markets and business development services

These findings provide practical insights to strengthen the connection between skills development and labour market opportunities for young people in Rwanda.

World Vision Rwanda and the Rwanda Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS RRP+ have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, formalizing a strategic partnership to strengthen HIV prevention, treatment, care, and community-based interventions across Rwanda.

The partnership brings together RRP+’s strong community networks and HIV expertise with World Vision Rwanda’s technical and operational capacity to expand reach, strengthen integrated programming and collaboration in Global Fund initiatives, and drive greater impact for vulnerable communities.

Together, we are strengthening community-led responses and working toward healthier, more resilient communities across Rwanda.

It’s a wrap! 🎓

Four days, practical sessions, new insights, and today, certificates in hand!

We have officially concluded the National Disaster Management Team training at World Vision Rwanda, bringing together colleagues from across the organisation to sharpen their understanding of disaster risk management, preparedness and emergency response.

A big thank you to our facilitators,Barzil Mwakulomba,Hannah Nyale,Joy Kivata,and other colleagues from the National Office.

Our National Director, Pauline Okumu, also appreciated the facilitators and colleagues for making the training a significant learning experience.
