We were thrilled to receive visitors, including one of our important donors, Andrus, and his wife, Andrus at our organization, during their visit to our programs. They were accompanied by other visitors from and National Rehabilitation Services (NRS) .
They toured the different Life Skills programs, the Rehabilitation Class, and the Early Childhood Development (ECD) program to witness the impact Empower The Future Organisation is making in the community.
The visit was also attended by representatives from different partner institutions, including City of Kigali and NRS. During the tour, former street children expressed their joy through traditional and modern performances, showing appreciation for the continued support and care they receive through Empower The Future programs.
All the visitors were greatly amazed by our positive impact on the community and highly appreciated the dedication of our team.
Emile Kayitare , the Founder and Executive Director of Empower The Future, explained that the main purpose of the Life Skills programs is to help parents and guardians of former street children become self-reliant and improve their livelihoods. He also shared that many of the parents have young children, which inspired Empower The Future to initiate the Early Childhood Development (ECD) program. The program helps children learn and improve their health before joining nursery school, while their parents continue attending different life skills trainings.
The visit highlighted the importance of partnerships and support in building a brighter future for children and families in the community.
