Today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the University of Rwanda, Huye Campus, a public discussion was launched aimed at addressing an important topic concerning the development of our country:
"Fighting corruption and preventing injustice in order to build a society founded on justice and accountability."
This event was held in collaboration with Transparency and a Project called ISDA (Inclusive Services Delivery Africa), represented by Rwanda Ambassador Madam Vestine UWAMAHORO.
As part of this journey to combat corruption, a particular issue that continues to grow but remains hidden was emphasized — Sexual corruption, commonly known as sextortion.
This refers to situations where someone is asked or pressured to provide or accept sexual favors in exchange for a certain service or benefit.
This is a form of abuse, corruption, and a crime.
