Over time, the backbone of the community was five people, two of whom are still members of the. In the period from 2006 to 2008, we took part for the first time in Russian scale-models exhibitions -contests (Moscow, Ryazan, Tula, Voronezh). ". In 2008, we officially registered the club as a legal entity, which gave a lot of advantages in terms of communication with various organizations, including partners and sponsors. In general, the first years of the Patriot club's existence coincided with a surge in the popularity of our hobby in Russia, at this time there are new sites and forums, active development of groups and communities in social networks begins, and, of course, more and more exhibitions and competitions in Russia. Since 2008, the models of our authors took part in more than 30 (?) contests and winning prizes in most cases. MEETING PLACE - CLUB "PATRIOT". The year 2013 was a turning point for “Patriots’ of Stupino, thanks to the head of the administration of the Stupinsky Municipal District, Pavel Chelpan, our organization acquired its own premises. In the summer, the necessary repairs were made, furniture and tools were purchased and In August, during the annual exhibition-contest in Stupino, our new home was presented to our friends and colleagues. In total, we were able to equip 8 workplaces and a special area for painting models. In the fall, young modelers began to come to the club, with whom their older colleagues enjoyed sharing their experiences. In 2013, the well-known Spanish “Soviet modeler” Cristobal Vergara was have visit to Stupino. For him this was not the first visit to Russia, but the first experience to take a part in Russian scale-models event. And in 2014, with his help, the Patriot club team took part in the 20th AMT competition, in the Torrent (Spain), where we met a lot of interesting people, and also compared how contests are held in Europe and Russia. We have been implementing some ideas for several years at our exhibition in Stupino . Twice, in 2016 and 2018, our club became the laureate of the prize of the Moscow Region Governor “Our Moscow Region”. Over 10 years of existence, the composition of our small team has changed significantly. Some modelers abandoned their hobby because of lack of time and stopped taking active part in the club’s life, but new people came, thanks to whom we consider ourselves to be the best scale modeling club in Russia (or in the world?). In order to become a member of a club, it is enough to have the desire to create - to build models, to share and gain knowledge, to take part in the life and activities of the club. For a start, it is enough to come to any club meeting (on Thursdays, after 6:00 pm) and find out the details. Young modelers in the first lesson can choose their first model for assembly as a gift. There are no age restrictions for club members, but it is very good if the choice of such a hobby as modeling, is a conscious desire.
