Rotaract club Moscow-East was founded at 2006, when few Rotaractors, who came to Moscow from different cities of Russia to live and to work, have decided to organize new club. Looking at the history of our club, we can tell that our main work is social projects aimed on the help for the children from orphanages, with which the club cooperates. The international front of activity – participation in
joint projects with Italian and Philippine clubs, and also in the first (but, we hope, not the last) Russian "release" of Rotaract Travel Weeks. In cooperation with Rotaract Club Saint-Petersburg - Neva we organize Two Capitals Trip which will help rotaractors from all over the world to discover exceptional beauty of Moscow and Saint-Petersburg! Our club took the lead in organization of EUCO 2012 in Moscow!!! The biggest project aimed on personal and professional growth of Rotaractors is a regular Moscow Spring Regional Seminar of Rotaract Clubs of District 2220. In 2010 the seminar was held in the fourth time and has received more than 50 Rotaractors from different cities of Russia from Kaliningrad to Novosibirsk. The program includes trainings, «round tables» and a cultural-research-night part. Moscow – a city, which receive a lot of foreign visitors, so there are a lot of opportunities for club members to connect with Rotaractors and Rotarians from other countries.
