Mission
Considering the cultural, historical, political, social and educational uniqueness of Eurasia, the Eurasian Association for Educational Assessment (EAOKO) was founded to advance the education quality assessment expertise in the region. By meeting the growing need of consolidating the community of researchers, education professionals and policy-makers in the region EAOKO strives to functi
on as a platform for creating, discussing and disseminating best practices in education quality assessment. Goals
• to provide a platform for discussion, know-how exchange and collaboration among main stakeholders in the area of education quality assessment, including but not limited to: researchers, scholars, graduate students, education practitioners, professionals, policy-makers, education administrators, donors, etc.
• to carry out or facilitate research and analysis on education quality assessment methodology, tools and their case specific application
• to develop, improve and promote new education quality assessment tools
• to represent education quality assessment communities’ interests and initiatives at the governmental level in nation states and in Eurasian supranational organizations
• to serve as a liaison between region’s expert community and international organizations; to provide region specific analysis on the international education quality assessment data and to represent region’s know-how on the international arena
• to provide an opportunity for young specialists to develop their skills and deepen their understanding of current issues in education quality assessment

• to organize conferences, round tables, workshops and related events
• to produce “Eurasian Journal for Educational Assessment”, peer reviewed journal
• to hold a competition for best research and innovation in education quality assessment
• to carry out cross country research and monitoring on education quality
• to provide a virtual collaboration space for researchers and scholars
• to create young researchers council
• to support Eurasian experts in taking part in international conferences, joint research and publication projects
