With profound sadness, we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Helio Luis Brocher, Member of the MILSET AMLAT Executive Committee and Former MILSET AMLAT President.
Today, the entire MILSET family mourns the loss of an extraordinary leader and an exceptional human being.
Helio was one of the founding pillars of MILSET AMLAT, serving for several years as its President, and played a defining role in the history and development of MILSET. His vision, dedication, and lifelong commitment to science, education, and young people in Brazil and across Latin America opened doors and created opportunities for countless generations.
Beyond his remarkable contributions, Helio will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, wisdom, and the genuine warmth he shared with those around him. We will deeply miss his presence at meetings and events around the world, his radiant smile, infectious joy, and the positive spirit he brought wherever he went.
Helio, we love you, and we will miss you more than words can express.
Our deepest sympathies are with his family, friends, colleagues, and everyone whose life he touched. May the many memories and moments shared with him bring comfort and strength during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, dear Helio. Everything you gave to our community and to generations of young people will remain a lasting part of MILSET’s history. You will forever remain in our hearts.
