On April 21, the Harvard Club of Russia hosted a special Easter edition of our monthly Speaker Series events featuring Vladimir Legoida, a distinguished religious thinker, journalist, educator, and public figure.

As head of Public Relations for the Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church and founder of the acclaimed Foma magazine, Mr. Legoida delivered a fascinating discussion on the evolving role of religion in today’s society, the dynamics of interfaith dialogue in Russia, and the Russian Orthodox Church’s perspective on ethical dilemmas around modern technological advancements.

We thank everyone who attended and made the evening so special!

🌟On March 19, HCR hosted Global Networking Night (GNN) 2025. 🌟
It is part of Harvard University’s annual tradition bringing together alumni and friends in all corners of the world. Close to 80 people attended the GNN in Moscow to reconnect and network with fellow graduates.
✨The evening was a great success and a testament to the Harvard community’s strong bond and global reach.

🎓Harvard University raises the cap on annual family income for tuition-free college to $200,000 from $85,000. College will be completely FREE for students whose families make $100,000 or less.

New effort ensures that more undergraduates, especially from middle-income families, will receive support.

Team HCR hit the slopes for the annual ski race, and oh, what a day it was! 🌲❄️ We ran against 34 other teams in a picturesque snowy forest just outside the almost snow-less Moscow (winter has been oddly light on snow over here this year!).

We may not have ended up *exactly* at the top of the podium 😂, but hey — we’re improving every year, and that’s what counts! 🏆💪

A HUGE shoutout and congratulations to our amazing team! ⛷️💙 And thanks to everyone who joined us for the delightful après-ski 🥂✨

Last week, we had the privilege of hearing from one of the most influential voices in the world of talent and recruitment—𝐃𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐯, 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, Russia’s largest job platform. He shared insights that left us all inspired—and maybe a little more prepared for what’s to come. 🌟
