The profile of the dance group “Tengrin Kee” under the aegis of the Kalmyk State Dance Theatre “OIRATY” . The children are taught by experienced teachers and concertmasters: Peter Nadbitov (director of the school, honored worker of arts of the Russian Federation, Guiliana Sangaeva (honored artist of the Republic of Kalmykia, director of the dance group “Tengrin Kee”), Zanda Mukubenova (teacher of
the classic dance), Aisa Nadbitova (teacher of rhythmics), Natalya Antcheeva (teacher of folk dances), Svetlana Ongldushova (teacher of the 1 category), Evgenia Vingradova (concertmaster of classic dances and rhythmics). The subjects at the studio are classic dances, folk dances and Kalmyk dances. The school has it’s own dance group “TENGRIN KEE” where perform it’s best students and graduates. Every year our students take examinations according to the results of the year. The dance lessons help to discipline, to organize and to develop children physically and mentally, tor raise their cultural level. Our children always lead concert activity. The repertoire of the dance studio is various. It includes following dances: the dances in the form of games – “The chicks”, “The mushrooms”, “The horse races”; the traditional dances – “Tchitcherdyk”, “Ichkimdyk”; the lyrical dances – “Sharka Barka” and others, as well as the dances of the world. The Children’s Choreographic School under the aegis of the Kalmyk State Dance Theatre “Oiraty” has participated at the following contests and festivals:
In 1997 was held the first reporting concert of the dance studio. In 1998 the dance group “Tengrin Kee” has made the first concert tour in France. In 1998 - The International Children’s Festival in France and the opening ceremony of the World Chess Olympiad in Kalmykia. In 2001 the dance group “Tengrin Kee” represented Kalmykia at the VI International Folk Festival “The farmstead of Sestraretsk” in Saint-Petersbourg. In 2002 - The Russian Children’s Festival-contest “The blue bird” in Maikop. The diploma of the 3 degree. In 2003 - The Moscow International Forum “The Talented children of Russia”. “Tengrin Kee” took the 1 place for the preservation of national traditions and culture. In 2004 the dance group “Tengrin Kee” took the 2 first places in the nomination “Pair dance” at the II Russian Festival-contest of children and youth bands “The blue-eyed Anapa”. In 2005 - The Russian Festival-contest “The eaglets of Russia” at the Russian Children’s Center “The Eaglet”. In 2005 - The II International Children’s Festival of Culture and Art in Ilim (Cyprus). Moreover the dance group took part at the I International Children Media Art Festival in Bulgaria. They became winners of the first qualifying round. In 2007 – The XX Jubilee Children’s Festival in France as one of the best dance groups in the world. The premiere of the musical in Kalmyk language “Aak-Narn” (The Mother Sun) took place also in 2007. In 2008 the children choreographic school celebrated its 10Th jubilee, in the frame of the anniversary the children gave concert together with the graduates of the dance choreographic studio. In 2009 in the frame of 400th anniversary of the entry of the Kalmyk people into the structure of the Russian state the dance group “Tengrin Kee” took part at the celebration ceremony “Dzhangariada 2009” and at the concert of Friendship in the frame of Interregional Children Dance Festival «Russia is our common home” dedicated to 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In 2010 (January) – The IV International Christmas Festival-Contest “The world of fairytale miracles” in Poland. They took the first 2 places in nomination “The folk dance”. Moreover the dance group took part at the Interregional Children Dance Festival “Russia is our common home” in Volgograd in the frame of the 65th anniversary of the Victory Day. They took part at the Russian festival of folk dances “The Spring of the Victory” in Volgograd. In 2010 (in November) - The I International Festival-contest “The round dance of friendship” in Astrakhan. The dance group took the 3 place in nomination “The folk dance”. In 2011- The VIII International Choreographic Art festival “Happy childhood in the circle of friends” in Dniepropetrovsk in Ukraine. In November 2011 - The VII Festival-contest “Terpsichore of Russia” in Essentuki. They took Grand Prix and the Award “The best Ballet master of the year”. In April 2012 - The IV International Children’s Festival in Northern Cyprus. The anniversary concert “We are 15” was held in 2012, 120 students of the school took part at the concert. Many promotes do practical work at the Dance Theatre “Oiraty” at the same level as the senior ballet dancers. The objective of the Children’s Choreographic School is to give to our children general choreographic culture, to introduce them to choreographic and musical culture and to prepare the most talented of them to high choreographic schools. The main objective of the school is a preparation of future artists of folk dance groups as well as a preservation and an increase of moral and cultural values of the society. The Art of Dance helps our children to grow in harmony, makes them spiritually richer and brings Joy and Beauty to the world. Beautiful, healthy, inspired and developed children are not only our future but also our present!
