Emergency Medicine is not only about saving lives. It is about leadership in chaos, trust within teams, resilience under pressure, and the commitment to never stop learning.

A treia ediție a Congresului Național de Medicină de Urgență și Medicină de Dezastre - CongrEMs va avea loc în perioada 3-6 iunie 2026, la Târgu Mureș.

Evenimentul cu participare internațională este organizat de Organizația Studențească de Medicină de Urgență, în colaborare cu UPU-SMURD Târgu Mureș, sub egida UMFST G.E. Palade Târgu Mureș, și reunește studenți, medici, rezidenți, asistenți medicali, paramedici, voluntari și invitați.

Congresul se adresează tuturor profesioniștilor și studenților interesați de dezvoltare profesională, schimb de experiență și formare continuă într-un cadru interdisciplinar.

Programul include prezentări plenare pe teme actuale din medicina de urgență și medicina de dezastre, workshopuri și sesiuni hands-on, prezentări de abstracte și sesiuni științifice.

Manifestarea este creditată cu 24 EMC de către Colegiul Medicilor din România și cu 15 EMC de către OAMGMAMR pentru asistenții medicali.

We are pleased to announce the participation of Assist. Prof. Modiga Andrei, MD at CongrEMs 2026. He is a Specialist Physician in Emergency Medicine and hoist rescue specialist within the Emergency Department - SMURD of the Clinical Emergency County Hospital in Târgu Mureș. In parallel, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Emergency Medicine Department at „G.E. Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology, contributing to the academic training of future emergency medicine professionals, while currently pursuing his PhD.

His lecture, titled „Massive Transfusion Protocol,” will address the structured and time-critical approach to managing severe hemorrhage. The session will focus on key principles of protocol activation, coordinated team response, and the implementation of balanced transfusion strategies in emergency settings. Participants will gain a clear and clinically relevant perspective on optimizing transfusion practices in critical situations, aligned with current standards in emergency care.
