These last 2 weeks were very busy but wonderful. We organized day camps with many funny games and activities for 20 children coming from disadvantaged communities.
We had a great time together, simple but good food and special moments with children.
All of them have never been in any camp so the time they have spent at Day Center was very appreciative.

Today we are celebrating 20 years since our NGO was legally recognized. 🥳It started with one person who dreamt to make a difference in the world.
For one year I was walking alone in poor areas from Targu Mures and my heart was overwhelmed by so many needs.
The dream grow in a vision and a vision follow by hard work opened the way for something bigger that I ever imagine.
One year later Mia join me as a student and after 5 years of planning we opened the Day Center Home of Love and Mercy with the support of Romania Aid and MLBC from London.

Since 2015 at Day Center we are offering free judicial and medical help for the disadvantaged people alongside with educational and humanitarian help.

Today we count more 15000 needy people that got help not to count the ones who came for a tea or coffee in cold weather or the numerous children that got cloths, shoes and hygiene items.🥳

All this years we learned that the perseverance is requiring small steps and the love and empathy are making a way for transforming communities.
Listening people’s need, seeing their struggle humbles us every day but also challenges us to continue to fight for human well being.
If you are wondering how we do it or how we are coping seeing poverty every day is because we have faith in something we can not see and we strongly believe God is good all times.

In our small team we had Teodora, Irina and currently Mia and Elena; occasionally Liviu and few Romanians and foreigners volunteers.
All these wonderful ladies with a huge heart are precious gems and without them the programs cannot run efficiently.

We are grateful for all our friends that support us with finances.
We’ve never met some of you but we count on your help.☺️

Some photos don’t need many comments. 🥲
The pain and despair of these 2 homeless men brought them to our Day Center every week.
The local authorities provides a night shelter but nobody want to treat their wounds.
Their gangrene needed long term medical care and after 2 years of intensive treatment the wound was healed. ( first photo)

Huge thanks to our nurse Mia for her dedication and commitment to those nobody cares about!
You are a true model of compassion and goodness!

Sweet remember May 17th,2025! 🥰❤️
We were celebrating National 🇳🇴 Day with wonderful friends and the memory will last forever.
12 years ago a dream met a big heart and together united by the same goal for helping the needies marked the start of a Romanian- Norvegian partnership.🇷🇴🇳🇴
Thank you all for making our journey very memorable! ❤️

We are welcoming two baby girls and one boy born in 2026 that are part of our Nutritional program.
The first 2 babies are coming from large families with 4 siblings and they needed baby milk formula as they were very tiny at birth.
The second mom will be scheduled for eye surgery as she is rapidly losing her sight .
The last one is a mother at 15 years old
that fled from un abusive environment.
For private reasons we are not naming them but we are happy to include their beautiful babies in our project that provides baby milk formula on weekly base.
Although the prices went up for the baby product we make a plan to help them until they go on solid food.

Unfortunately we had to say no to other 4 moms as this put a financial pressure on the project.
