✨𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭.𝐀𝐈 - 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!🤖🧠

Implemented between 𝟏𝟒–𝟐𝟐 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐢𝐧 📍𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐳𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐥𝐞, 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, “𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭.𝐀𝐈” 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 brought together 30 youth workers from 🇩🇪Germany, 🇷🇴Romania, 🇮🇹Italy, 🇪🇸Spain, 🇬🇷Greece, 🇨🇿Czech Republic, 🇵🇱Poland, 🇷🇸Serbia and 🇹🇷Türkiye for an international learning experience focused on understanding and navigating the rapidly changing AI landscape.

✅Throughout the project, participants explored how to evaluate online information, recognize disinformation and use AI tools critically and responsibly, while reflecting on the role of algorithms in shaping what we see and believe online.

⚡️𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨:
📌Strengthen youth workers’ competences in critical thinking, media literacy and responsible AI use.
📌Develop creative non-formal learning tools for fact-checking, understanding algorithms and using AI ethically.
📌Support partner NGOs in integrating digital education and critical AI practices into their youth work.

⭐️The 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 combined non-formal education, practical experimentation and co-creation through activities such as:
🔴AI 101 sessions and prompting challenges
🟠AI-generated content detection and fact-checking exercises
🟡Algorithms, ethics and the impact of AI on everyday life
🟢Exploration of different AI tools and their practical applications
🔵Creative development of digital learning tools and awareness materials

📌 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝:
✔️Interactive digital learning tools helping young people develop critical thinking and better understand AI, fake news and AI-generated content.
✔️Video tutorials promoting responsible AI use and raising awareness about its challenges.
✔️AI Blueprints presenting different AI tools, their uses and the risks that come with them.

From exploring AI to questioning it, experimenting with it and creating with it, the training gave participants the space to become more confident, critical and responsible users of technology.

Between 𝟏𝟒 - 𝟐𝟑 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 📍𝐕𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐢, 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 became the meeting point for young people from 🇷🇴Romania, 🇵🇱Poland, 🇪🇸Spain, 🇬🇷Greece, 🇮🇹Italy and 🇨🇿Czech Republic, all brought together by one common goal: becoming more aware and better prepared to navigate disinformation in the AI digital era.

✅Throughout the project, participants explored the different forms of misleading information, from misinformation and disinformation to malinformation, while learning how manipulation can shape opinions, decisions and online behaviour.

⚡️ 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨:
📌Equip 30 young people and 6 youth leaders with skills in critical thinking, media literacy and responsible online behaviour.
📌Introduce creative non-formal learning tools for the responsible use of social media and AI.
📌Strengthen the capacity of 6 partner organizations in media literacy and critical thinking.

📌 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝:
✔️6 Digital Guides created by participants to help young people understand and identify the risks of malicious AI use across different information formats and contexts.
✔️5 youth-friendly awareness videos addressing deepfakes, misinformation, AI ethics and other challenges of the digital era.

🚂Beyond the learning process, participants also discovered Vatra Dornei through a ride with the Mocănița and an engaging discussion with the local mayor, creating memories and connections that went far beyond the training room.

As part of the NextGen Opportunity project, focus groups were organised in Vatra Dornei and Bucharest, Romania, bringing together young people and experts to discuss youth unemployment, access to jobs and the challenges faced by vulnerable and marginalised groups.

⚽📖𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝.

Our work was grounded in the findings from focus groups with Roma children, young people and parents across different communities in Romania - organized by ATDD during the the April-May period.

Their experiences highlighted some of the biggest barriers to taking part in sports :from financial difficulties and the lack of proper sports infrastructure in Roma-populated communities to experiences of discrimination.🤝

These insights helped shape the Guidelines around the real challenges faced by the communities they are meant to support. 🌍

⚽️Between 28 July and 1 August 2026 the ‘Building Future’ project brought together coaches, experts and reprezentatives of partner organizations for an international training focused on putting the newly created Guidelines into practice.

🏀Through hands-on activities and open discussions, participants shared perspectives and explored how sport can create more inclusive spaces where Roma and non-Roma young people can connect and participate together.

⚡️The insights gathered during the training will contribute to the final improvements of the Guidelines and support their use in upcoming local pilot activities, making sure they are practical, relevant and adapted to the communities they aim to support.

🌍Happy International Youth Day!

Being young means having the freedom to explore, learn and take chances; and Europe offers plenty of opportunities to do just that.

Whether it’s joining a youth exchange, travelling with DiscoverEU, volunteering, studying abroad, getting involved in sports or taking part in international learning experiences, there are so many ways to discover something new while meeting people from different cultures.

“Youth Zone” is the project implemented by Hate Fighters Network through 2-year framework partnership agreements to support Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth, Erasmus + in the period 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2027. Planned activities for the 2026 are structured around four thematic priorities: Human Rights and Inclusion; Safety and Well-being; Media and Digital Literacy; Active Youth Participation; and 2 transversal initiatives focused on EU programme promotion and volunteering. Network-level activities such as the Youth Zone Mentorship Programme, the annual planning meeting and the pilot volunteer exchange at the “Come to Amfi” festival will further strengthen cooperation, peer learning and capacity development within the network.

✨𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 - 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬. What happened during the final days?👀

On Day 5, participants entered the co-creation phase, starting with a personal SWOT analysis and exploring how to turn weaknesses into strengths. This led to the creation of a booklet with 23 real examples of transformed weaknesses. They also created Employability Maps using the scrapbook method and practiced handling delicate job interview situations through role-playing.💡🎭

On Day 6, they focused on digital employability, creating a Digital Employability Toolkit with relevant digital tools and practical video tutorials to make the job-search process easier.💻🎥

Day 7 brought the training to a close with dissemination plans, final evaluation and emotional reveal of secret friends, giving participants the chance to reflect on everything they learned and created together.❤️

✨𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 - 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬. Curious about days 3 and 4? 🤭

On Day 3 participants explored the key competences for employability, discussing which skills are essential, important or simply nice to have in today’s labour market. They also reflected on the gaps within formal education systems and exchanged ideas on how youth work can bridge these gaps by providing practical learning opportunities for young people. To wrap up the learning sessions, participants took part in an interactive challenge focused on communication and adaptability - two core competences for every youth worker.💡

On Day 4, it was time to discover Romania beyond the training room through cultural visits, mountain hikes and exploring the beautiful city of Brașov. ⛰️🏙️
