The excitement is building after the announcement of the Gold Coast 2027 World Archery Para Championships, and it's a great opportunity for our Aussie athletes.

Para archer Tom Holland-Roach on competing at the championships in the Gold Coast: “As the qualification event for LA28, a home championship with a home crowd and a big team will allow us to establish our position as front and centre at LA28, before continuing this momentum into Brisbane 2032.”

We look forward to welcoming the global para archery community to the Gold Coast and cheering on our Aussie athletes!! ✨

Helping more people experience the joy of archery.

Thanks to funding from the Access Archery Fund and innovative 3D-printed adaptations made by Freeman Tim Woolcott are already making a real difference. These types of bows and bespoke chin-trigger enabled archer Jack with a C6 spinal injury to shoot independently by activating the release with gentle pressure from the chin, supported by a custom shooting frame from ReMap.

The smile at the end says it all. We're proud to support innovation that makes archery accessible to all.

🏹 Celebrating Achievement, Tradition & Courage in the City of London 🏹

A busy start to July for the Master of the Company.

A wonderful sunny day at the City of London Freemen’s School Founders’ Day, marking 100 years at Ashtead Park. We were proud to present Nia Pinniger with the Worshipful Company of Fletchers’ Arrow and Prize for Endeavour — recognising her outstanding commitment and spirit.
Nia has kindly confirmed she is happy for her photograph to be shared, and we are delighted to celebrate her achievement with our community.

Then onto supporting the Lord Mayors Appeal Hilda, Master Fletcher, took part in the Lady Mayor and Mayoral Consort’s Abseil Challenge at Lloyd’s of London — stepping quite literally over the edge in support of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal. She described the experience as exhilarating, and we are proud to share that her efforts helped raise more than £1,000 for this important cause. Safely back on terra firma, this further demonstrates and embodies the Fletcher spirit of service and endeavour.

Cadet Enterprise Challenge 2026

What an incredible day in the City of London!

Yesterday, cadets from across London and the South East came together to take part in the Cadet Enterprise Challenge 2026, hosted by the Worshipful Company of Fletchers in partnership with fellow Livery Companies, London District, the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for Greater London, and supported by a fantastic team of volunteers.

Throughout the day, teams tackled a series of challenges across the City, testing their leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving and initiative while discovering more about the history, traditions and charitable work of the Livery Companies.

A huge thank you to our fellow participating Livery Companies, to Mansion House for hosting the prize-giving, and to the Lady Mayor and Consort for presenting the awards and celebrating the achievements of every cadet.

Sincere thanks also go to Captain Polly Marsh, HQ London District, every adult volunteer, hall staff, Clerk and supporter whose enthusiasm and commitment made the day possible. Most importantly, congratulations to every cadet who took part, you represented your units with professionalism, determination and great spirit.

The Cadet Enterprise Challenge demonstrates the enduring partnership between the City of London, the Livery movement and the Armed Forces community, investing in the confidence, leadership and future potential of young people.
