🤝𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠🤝
2 weeks ago, during Welcome training, our intern Ferran facilitated a training session on 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 for the volunteers of our association.

Participants explored different 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐬 that Ferran learned through his participation in the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 #𝐁𝐞𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, hosted by in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿

👉🏻 It was a great opportunity 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 on collaboration, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 our teamwork skills, and 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫❜𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬.

This Welcome Training: Summer Edition was 1 week dedicated 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, and turning a group of individuals into a team ready to learn, support each other, and make an impact together.

👉🏻 From ice-breakers, team-building moments and reflection sessions to treasure hunt across the city, activities, and a lot of laughter, we’ve already started creating connections and building the team that will share the months ahead 🤩

✨🌍 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🌍✨

Last Monday was filled with a mix of emotions. Laughter, hugs, memories, and the bittersweet feeling of saying goodbye to some of our volunteers as they officially reached the end of their projects here.

Over the past months, they became much more than volunteers - they became part of our community, our everyday life, and our story 🌱 Together, we shared experiences, challenges, growth, and 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 ✨

👉🏻 It’s never easy to say goodbye to people who made a place feel like your 2nd home. But as the saying goes: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” 🤍

Thank you all for your energy, care, laughter, and everything you brought into this journey!

The Rhubarb Fest brought together 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐲 in the most vibrant way 🌿

From delicious rhubarb treats - soup, pizza, cakes and drinks - and local flavors to music, activities, and smiling faces. The atmosphere was 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲✨

👉🏻 It was more than just a fest. It was a celebration of 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

We’re grateful to have been part of this special day - creating memories, connecting with people, and enjoying everything this unique event had to offer 🍓💫

For us, the EU means the chance to learn, travel, and volunteer beyond borders 🌍 It also means community, meeting people from many countries, finding a place that we can call our 2nd home, and being part of projects that change our and other people’s lives for the better.

Europe is built on 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.
And every connection, every shared project, and every story reminds us how powerful it is when people are together 💫
