We gaan weer op kamp met de kinderen! Even een paar dagen weg uit de armoede. Even niet werken of zorgen maar kind zijn en genieten. Het lijkt zo vanzelfsprekend maar dat is het niet.
Maak jij deze levensveranderende dagen mogelijk voor een kind?

News about Delbert and Becky Chronister

We’d like to take a moment to share some news about our dear friends Pastor Delbert and Becky Chronister. After years of faithful service Pastor Delbert has transitioned from his role as pastor and leader of our Iozua Church and ministry Phoneo into a new season ahead of him.
We had a special farewell moment in our church service right before Christmas which was a moment of thankfulness and appreciation for all that Delbert and Becky have done for our church community and ministry. It was an opportunity for us to express our heartfelt gratitude for his leadership, investment, guidance, and the love they have shared with each of us. While we love them and certainly will miss them as leaders in our house, we are happy that our friendship will remain.

Off course we are excited for them and the new journey ahead of them followings Gods call upon their lives. They will be still around us here in Romania and will serve in our work. But their main focus and priority in this new season will be to work, teach and travel with the ministry of Jannie Kloosterman from Come Alive Ministries in The Netherlands.
We love them and pray for them that God will keep using them in powerful ways.

Afgelopen kerst zijn we enorm gezegend met kerstgeschenken uit Nederland voor al onze kinderen! Geweldig om alle blije koppies te zien dus bekijk vooral ook het laatste deel :)

Hello friends and partners,

As I write this post I reflect on almost 7 years of blessings since we opened up our Selah building thanks to the many volunteers and supporters that helped make it all possible.

It’s been 7 Years of memories being made, hugs and laughter and many sticky hands prints.

As you can imagine a house catering to so many children results in much up keep. Not just because of their sticky hand prints but in our case due to high water levels that has caused significant moisture dampness and mold to our walls which need an urgent fix. It’s both a structural and a health hazard that we are looking to repair. This building is a blessing as it serves as the base for our school project and we want to ensure its longevity. We are looking for help to repair the internal damage and paint where it is most needed. If you are able to help us in any way with the cost of these repairs we would greatly appreciate it !

SPONSOR KAMP VOOR 1 KIND EN IMPACT EEN LEVEN!

Het is nog midden in de winter maar we zijn al weer druk aan het voorbereiden voor kinderkamp deze zomer. Het is altijd weer een hele onderneming om alles in orde te maken voor 80 kinderen maar het is zo de moeite waard. De getuigenissen, verhalen en simpelweg het enthousiasme van de kinderen die nu al constant vragen wanneer we gaan maakt kamp voor osn enorm belangrijk.

Het was dit jaar super spannend of we wel accomodatie zouden vinden maar het is gelukt! Ook zijn we al een heel eind met het verzamelen van de bagage maar...... we moeten nog bijna alle onkosten gedekt krijgen. Dat wil zeggen de huur van het kamp terrein, busvervoer, maaltijden, knutselmaterialen etc.
Door alle gestegen prijzen komen de kampkosten voor een kind al snel uit rond de 150 euro. En help....op dit moment hebben we die kosten nog maar voor 7 kinderen gedekt..... nog 73 te gaan!

Wil je meehelpen een kind een ongelofelijke tijd te bezorgen?

* Sponsor 1 dag op kamp voor 37.50 euro
