De la implicare civică la EuroVelo 6

Acest videoclip prezintă drumul meu începând din 2016: de la probleme locale privind drepturile cetățenilor și protecția mediului, până la activitatea mea voluntară în Strategy Board-ul Programului Interreg România–Bulgaria.

Am susținut dezvoltarea unui traseu EuroVelo 6 funcțional, tratamentul egal, transparența și accesul la documentele relevante. Atunci când întrebările esențiale au rămas fără răspuns, am publicat o Scrisoare Deschisă, iar împreună cu soția mea am transmis o petiție Comisiei Europene.

Videoclipul prezintă experiența mea personală și întrebările care, până astăzi, nu au fost clarificate printr-o verificare independentă.

Urmăriți până la final, distribuiți și ajutați-ne să reamintim instituțiilor publice că trebuie să fie transparente și responsabile față de cetățeni.

Justiția nu ar trebui să depindă de avere.

AOPTE Dunărea a transmis o petiție Parlamentului European și Comisiei Europene pentru un acces mai echitabil la justiție și pentru o responsabilitate reală a instituțiilor publice.

Together for a Safe and Well-Developed EuroVelo 6 Route – A Call for Support

Many cyclists enjoy the benefits of the EuroVelo 6 route without realizing the effort behind its development and maintenance. The route is free for everyone to use, but rarely do people consider that planning, implementation, and ongoing support don’t happen on their own. Particularly in Bulgaria and Romania, several volunteers are working hard to ensure that you find a safe and well-developed infrastructure that allows you to ride the route without risks.

As part of the NGO Asociatia Organizatia Pentru Turism Ecologic 'Dunarea' (A.O.P.T.E. 'Dunarea'), I am actively involved in the Constanța region, striving to further develop the EuroVelo 6 route. This includes offering accommodation in our home, as there was no lodging available along the stretch from Silistra (BG) to Cernavoda (RO). Additionally, I am planning to provide a dedicated campsite for EuroVelo 6 cyclists to help mitigate the risks of wild camping, such as the danger posed by stray dogs.

Many cyclists have already taken advantage of our offer, yet unfortunately, the willingness to support us with small donations has been low. This is disappointing, as your contributions would not only help maintain the existing services but also enable us to expand them, providing future cyclists with safe places to stay, whether it be a simple tent site in a secure environment.

Those who come from wealthier countries and can afford accommodations at 100 Euros per night could consider a small donation to help reduce overall lodging costs. This would make it possible for less financially secure cyclists to ride the route safely and without significant financial burden.

I hope that my message finds open ears and that you will consider contributing to the development of the EuroVelo 6 route with your donation. Together, we can make this route a great experience for everyone!

🚴‍♂️ Discover the Black Sea Route - A Dream for Cyclists! 🌊

We at Asociatia Organizatia Pentru Turism Ecologic Dunarea in Rasova are excited to share key GPS tracks for all cycling enthusiasts who wish to explore the stunning Black Sea coast as part of the ambitious Black Sea Route project. This project aims to create a comprehensive tourist route connecting Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey, following the Black Sea coastline. The route will become part of the EuroVelo network, similar to other trans-European cycle routes, linking with EuroVelo 6 and EuroVelo 13. It promotes eco-tourism, year-round tourism, and sustainable business opportunities in coastal regions.

Progrese și provocări în dezvoltarea traseului EuroVelo 6

Pentru a promova și a dezvolta mai departe EuroVelo 6, o rută de biciclete care leagă Atlanticul de Marea Neagră, am fondat ONG-ul "Asociația Organizația Pentru Turism Ecologic Dunărea". Această organizație își propune să consolideze turismul de-a lungul Dunării. Ideile noastre de proiect au fost prezentate la Ministerul Afacerilor Externe din România, ceea ce a dus la formarea unui grup de lucru dedicat implementării acestor planuri. Sunt membru cu drept de vot al delegației române în echipa de dezvoltare a acestui proiect finanțat de UE prin Interreg. Echipa, formată din 28 de membri, inclusiv reprezentanți ai României și Bulgariei, lucrează în prezent la etapa de propuneri de proiect.

Lucrul într-o echipă formată din reprezentanți regionali și membri ai guvernului se dovedește a fi o sarcină de amploare. Accentul pare să fie mai puțin pe finalizarea traseului EuroVelo 6 și mai mult pe ce regiune poate obține cel mai mare avantaj din proiect. Această dinamică a intereselor face dificilă susținerea poziției noastre ca reprezentanți ai ONG-urilor.

În plus, ne confruntăm cu provocări structurale în ambele țări. Administrațiile regionale blochează proiectul de teamă că ar putea aduce schimbări în comunități. Noi perspective oferite de turism ar putea amenința zona de influență a celor responsabili. În Rasova, satul nostru natal, toate încercările de a promova turismul au fost blocate de responsabilii din cadrul comunității. Secretarul privat Maroiu Marian s-a concentrat în prima ședință oficială a consiliului local din 2020 mai mult pe înregistrarea și raportarea fiscală a ONG-ului nostru, decât pe discutarea oportunităților de dezvoltare. Acest lucru reflectă starea din diverse comunități, unde câțiva actori domină și suprimă orice posibilitate de schimbare pentru a nu periclita echilibrul puterii.

În ciuda acestor provocări, continui să susțin finalizarea și dezvoltarea cu succes a traseului EuroVelo 6, deoarece cred cu tărie că turismul sustenabil poate aduce beneficii pe termen lung comunităților de-a lungul Dunării.

Hello friends, let's take the next step to bring EuroVelo 6 to life in Romania and Bulgaria and ensure that the EV 6 becomes safer and more comfortable. To add to the existing offerings, we are raising funds through the Bursa Binelui donation platform. The fundraising campaign focuses on two projects: "Developing a EuroVelo 6 App for Romania" and "Safe and Accessible Campsites for Cyclists along the EuroVelo 6 Route in Romania."

Cyclists who have experienced the EV 6 firsthand have seen that these two projects should be prioritized. It is in the best interest of those who want to benefit from these improvements in the future to get involved and support us. We are a large community, and everyone can contribute to making this vision a reality.

Feel free to register as a member to become part of those driving this project forward. We also welcome volunteers who want to get involved and help us. We are a small NGO dedicated to slowing down the depopulation of villages by bringing new opportunities, such as jobs and local businesses, to these areas through cycling tourism on the EuroVelo 6 route.
