After all this I decided to dedicate 1 year of my life to volunteering. It’s very important that this opportunity connected with environment and presented as solidarity for nature. Although my profession is different, but I worked in environmental sphere more than 1 year and I think that humanity has a lot of work to do to make the environment better. In addition, this kind of activities will allow me to expand my mind, interact with young people from different cultures, work together with professional persons, administration staff. Hiiiii!!! My name is Eva, I am 30, I come from Galicia (Spain). I studied social education in Santiago de Compostela and in recent years I have worked with children and adults, learning every day from the life experiences of other people. I wanted to travel and experience new adventures outside of my country, learn a new language, improve with English, acquire new skills, meet people from other parts of the world and their cultures, enrich myself as much as possible and grow as a person. This project in which I participate is about solidarity and sustainability in the natural environment, I think it is a very good opportunity to learn first-hand new ways of working directly with nature, to know, learn and have a kinder treatment with our environment. I hope this experience is so enriching that it opens doors to a new work environment in the future. Wassim

I’m Imen JABALLI a Tunisian doctorate in Biological sciences, I’m 29 years old. I work on multidisciplinary fields in biology, in which I managed to publish 9 articles, to participate in several international conferences and to cooperate as a trainee with several hospitals and laboratories outside and inside Tunisia. Honestly, I did not participate much as volunteer, I was drift by my work in the laboratory, hugging between books and writing scientific articles, I didn’t see what’s happening outwardly. But something has changed on me! Yes something has changed! I left the need for trying something new and out of my contort zone. Luckily, my two friends working for Erasmus in France encouraged me to sign in European solidarity corps for guiding a lot to find matching Volunteering opportunities. Actually, it seemed very much close to what I’m passionately seeking for. During my search for opportunities, I came across the project called Be Green Be solider and Solidarity for Nature in Romania. I thought there were the closet to pursue my interests through interdisciplinary approaches. Oussama

Jaime
Hi, I’m Jaime Martín Farelo, a 25 years old Spaniard originally from Segovia, in central Spain. I graduated from the University of Salamanca (Spain) as a criminologist in 2018. Even though I’ve never worked as such, I’ve always kept my interest towards this science and continued reading papers and publications related to it. I have experience working in the hospitality industry both in my home country and abroad and I have also worked in the wildfire emergency services in Spain for four different seasons. In addition to this, I’ve previously done volunteer work with the Spanish Red Cross and I’ve also volunteered for the UN online volunteering program. Since I first started volunteering, I always wanted to do some volunteer work abroad, especially in Eastern Europe as I wanted to experience the culture of this part of the continent. To be more precise, I wanted to take part in a project focused on sustainability and environment protection. This is why I think that the project “Solidarity for Nature” is a great opportunity for me. I’ll be working in this project for the next 12 months and I have many expectations both at a personal level and also career related. At a personal level, I expect to have an enriching cultural experience, not just regarding Romanian culture but I also hope to learn a lot from the rest of volunteers taking part in the project. In addition, I’m also willing to develop new skills and learn as much as possible while volunteering here.
