Scooby's Association

At Scooby’s we rescue abandoned dogs and cats in Romania.

With our vet and trusted partners abroad, we give every animal the care, love, and second chance they deserve. 💛 🐾 We are Scooby’s

Here at Scooby's we are a small team, dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats directly from the streets. We don’t take in animals from private individuals; instead, we go out and find the ones that really have no one else. We work closely with a trusted local vet and partner with registered associations abroad to make sure every animal gets the best chance at a happy future. Every animal we rescue gets a real chance at a happy life, and we are with them every step of the way.

💛 Trudy is looking for her forever home 💛

Trudy is around 5 years old and comes from Barlad Public Shelter. She is a chunky, medium sized girl with short legs and a very unique look! 😆

We believe Trudy was most likely hit by a car some time ago. We recently had x-rays done, and thankfully, everything is fine. She does walk with a limp and, well… let’s just say she looks a little bit like a piece of furniture that was put together completely wrong! 😂 💛

But what Trudy lacks in straight lines, she more than makes up for with her wonderful personality.

Trudy is a lovely, gentle girl who loves being around people and other animals. She does not need a complicated life, just a loving home where she can be part of the family.

Our vet recommends limited walks and access to a garden, so a home where she can enjoy the outdoors without needing long walks would be ideal for her. 🏡

Could Trudy be the slightly wonky, absolutely wonderful girl you have been waiting for? 🥹💛

Please share her post and help us find her forever home 🏡💛

Să aveți iubire în aripi. 💛

Cu drag și multă tristețe,
Asociația Scooby’s 💛

Icar is looking for her forever home 💛

This gorgeous girl arrived with us last week, and she is now looking for a loving foster or forever home. 🏡

Icar is 3 years old and medium/large in size.
She was originally rescued from Golesti Public Shelter a couple of years ago, and we are so happy to have her with us now. 💛

Could you be the person who gives Icar her happy ever after? 🏡

What a week it has been 💛 and it didn’t end there!

This weekend two of our long staying, very nervous dogs also left us to begin their rehabilitation journey. 🙏💛

Thanks to a very kind rescue friend of us, that has a contact in Holland, these two lucky dogs have been given an incredible opportunity to start over and learn that the world can be a safe and happy place. 🇳🇱💛

We wish them both the very best of luck on their new journey, and we can’t wait to follow their progress 💛

Yesterday two lovely cats left our shelter to start their new life 💛

Both Milla and Greta had been taken to a local vet by their own owners with the intention of having them euthanised....
Milla because she is deaf and Greta because she needed a full dental extraction.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Rocky Road Rescue for stepping in and taking over the two beautiful girls! 💛💛

We wish them the very best of luck in their happy ever after . 🏡💛
