Here at Scooby's we are a small team, dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats directly from the streets. We don’t take in animals from private individuals; instead, we go out and find the ones that really have no one else. We work closely with a trusted local vet and partne

r with registered associations abroad to make sure every animal gets the best chance at a happy future. Every animal we rescue gets a real chance at a happy life, and we are with them every step of the way.

Our lovely boy Martin is looking for his forever home.

Martin came to us earlier this year from the Bârlad Public Shelter, and he has been winning hearts ever since. He absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than giving big hugs to his favourite humans. 💛💛

He is an active, affectionate boy who enjoys walks, spending time with his people, and being part of the action. Martin has so much love to give and is ready to become a loyal companion to a lucky family. 💛💛

Earlier this week we got the sad news that our very first Scoobys resident, Lenny, has passed away peacefully from old age 🌈💔

Huge thank you to Rocky Road Rescue LTD - Registered Charity Number 1198638 for rescuing him, and to Aleksandra Katarzyna and her family for giving him the most loving home and the best last few years a dog could wish for 💛

Lenny was honestly the easiest little dog. He loved everyone; dogs, cats, people 🐶🐱👫

Choupa arrived with us in December 2025 and has come such a long way since then 💛

Sadly, her rescuer and sponsor have now abandoned her, leaving her in our care with an unpaid vet bill. Now it’s just us, and Choupa, and we need your help 🙏

Caring for dogs in the shelter comes with real costs:
- Daily food and care
- Staff to look after them
- Ongoing veterinary treatment

Jhoana was rescued from Barlad Public Shelter. She already had a name in the Romanian system, which means she was once someone’s family pet 💔
How she ended up in the shelter, we will never know...

She is registered as being born in 2023, however we believe she may be a little older, a lovely, gentle soul 🥰
