Thanks to Erasmus+, NECI EU and ODEN organization me and my colleagues could experience 8 days of learning about arts through social inclusion in Paralimni, Cyprus.
In these days we had numerous workshops that we've prepared for, the most important one being the trip to a primary school in which we were presenting our best activities. This experience taught us how to work better with kids and collaborate with one another regardless of our different perspectives, how to be versatile and how we can improve our and others’ skills in a friendly environment.
The other activities were energetic like land art, taking pictures of certain things around the area, talking with locals and making videos. Also, we had a specialist in martial arts that taught us self-defence and training movements that were impactful for our daily lives.
Beyond arts, we had the opportunity to experience other cultures trough interesting historical videos, dynamic role-plays, catchy translated phrases, lots of dances and traditional food. The most important and fun cultural activity was the trip to Nicosia, when our very skilled organizers told us interesting facts about the vast history of Cyprus.

We are grateful for this wonderful opportunity and experience that we will never forget. That is why we are encouraging lots of youngsters to participate in these types of projects.

This is one of the final products of the Youth Exchange "I WANT MY TEARS BACK". The project took place on 22 October - 1 November 2025 in Sărata Monteoru & Buzău, Romania. ODEN Association Romania organised it with partners from Czechia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Spain, and Romania. The Exchange theme was to increase the responsibility of young people to prevent discrimination. The project was funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme.

APEL PARTICIPANŢI
Asociaţia ODEN organizează în perioada 22.10-01.11.2025 schimbul de tineri “I WANT MY TEARS BACK” la Sărata Monteoru şi Buzău. Participă tineri între 16-25de ani din CZ, GR, IT, LV, LT, MK, SP, RO (4 tineri + un lider de grup din fiecare ţară).
Proiectul îşi propune sensibilizarea tinerilor în ceea ce privește problemele create de discriminare și implicarea acestora în combaterea acestui fenomen. Metodologia este bazată pe metode specifice educaţiei nonformale – activităţi de cunoaştere şi team building, prezentări, dezbateri, ateliere de lucru în plen şi în echipe, activităţi în natură, seri interculturale, vizite culturale şi de studiu, reflecţii şi evaluări. Principalele produse finale vor fi campanie media, filme, piese de teatru şi o revistă care va sumariza activităţile şi produsele finale ale proiectului.
Cine consideră că:
- tema este de interes,
- are motivaţie şi interes pentru dezvoltarea competenţelor civice,
- este interesat de oportunităţile Erasmus+,
- are spirit de echipă,
- are dorinţa de a experimenta un mediu intercultural,
- este o persoană tolerantă, empatică şi implicată,
- poate să îşi asume responsabilităţi în timpul proiectului pentru bunul mers al activităţilor,
- poate să comunice cu ceilalţi participanţi (engleza la nivel bun)..se poate înscrie completând formularul atașat până pe 26 septembrie 2025. Vor avea prioritate tinerii cu oportunităţi reduse, deci ar fi bine să fie specificate aceste aspecte.

Reuniunea de valorificare a rezultatelor proiectelor din anul 4 de acreditare ODEN
La final de an Erasmus+, tinerii voluntari ai asociației s-au adunat la Buzău pentru a discuta, analiza, împărtăși experiențe și pentru a face planuri pentru viitor.
A fost un bun prilej pentru socializare, pentru exprimarea opiniilor, pentru a împărtăși idei.

New project, new experience!

Transmission from Paralimni, Cyprus: one week, 10 youth workers, responsible in their organizations, sharing methods, ideas, networking on the topic of healthy lifestyle and challenges for the youth in our age. Under the wand of NECI Cyprus and facilitated by Renos Georgiou, we had the opportunity to discuss, share and learn on the topic. It was a very fruitful seminar, each national team sharing specific methods. In a familial atmosphere, we had the opportunity to enhance traditional partnerships and to establish new ones. All in all, it was a great project opening a lot of opportunities.

From June 29th to July 9th, 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in a youth exchange in Rēzekne, Latvia, called “Carewell”.
We were very happy to take part in this project because we had the chance to learn a lot about the cultures of the different countries involved. We also had the opportunity to explore Latvia together with our facilitators, Tina and Marija, who guided us and showed us the beauty of this country, along with other young people who were just as excited about discovering Latvia as we were.
Of course, we also learned a lot from this project — through the diverse activities, we were able to learn how to create both a traditional and a video CV, how to manage our emotions better, how to create a vision board, and much more.

When we returned to Romania, we were also very happy to share the knowledge we had gained with other members of our organization, who were eagerly waiting to hear all about our adventures in Latvia.

Overall, this project gave us both the opportunity to learn and to meet amazing people whom we hope to see again in the future.
Many thanks to our facilitators, Tina and Marija, for this opportunity, to our organization ODEN, and to everyone who made this experience even more beautiful.
