Általa betekintést nyertünk a Nápolyi Közösségi Alapítvány munkájába.

Exchange of Experiences and Good Practices in Eberswalde
Last week, between 22–26 September, two staff members of the Homoród-Küküllő LEADER Association participated in the international meeting of the DEMOCRACITY project in Eberswalde, Germany.
The meeting focused on involving local communities, exploring opportunities for participation, and learning about successful European practices.
🔹 On the first day of the project meeting, we learned about the work of the Exil Association and had the opportunity to get to know the other participants.
🔹 On the second day, we attended several presentations on topics that were particularly relevant and interesting to us:
🔘 Participatory budgeting – A representative of the Municipality of Eberswalde presented how participatory budgeting works in their city. We learned about the types of projects that have been funded and the method used to select the projects that receive financial support.
🔘 The second presentation was given by a representative of the German Federation of Community Foundations, who introduced the organisation’s mentoring programme. Through this programme, they support civil society organisations in making their work with disadvantaged children and young people, as well as refugees and people with a migration background, more effective and impactful.
🔘 The third presentation was given by a representative of the European Community Foundation Initiative, who presented inspiring examples and good practices from community foundations across Europe. Through this presentation, we gained an insight into the work of the Community Foundation of Naples. During the discussion, we also learned about their experiences with the Sibiu Community Foundation and their visit to Făgăraș.
🔹 On the third day, the programme included a city tour, after which the participants started their journeys home.
The meeting was very useful and valuable for us, especially because participatory budgeting will be the main topic of the DEMOCRACITY project meeting that we will host in our region.
📍 The next project meeting will take place in Warsaw in November this year.
