Adventist Frontier Missions Europe

Adventist Frontier Missions Europe Adventist Frontier Missions Europe seeks to establish indigenous Seventh-day Adventist church-planting movements among unreached people groups.

Over 3 billion people will never hear the gospel unless someone goes and tells them. Our frontier missions agency seeks to establish church-planting movements among unreached people groups. We do this by recruiting, training and sending missionaries to people groups who have less than one percent of Adventist Christians. Many of these groups have no Christian presence at all. Driven by faith and i

n partnership with people like you, our missionaries learn the language and culture and begin raising up a body of believers, committed to spreading the gospel among their people. This evangelism model not only empowers local believers, it enables the Adventist Church to grow and expand in areas previously unentered. Many of the areas where AFM works are off limits to the Church for social, political, or ethnic reasons. Our unique cross-cultural evangelization approach to unreached people groups breaks down these barriers and allows for exponential growth. AFM Europe is an Adventist lay ministry and is supported solely by donations. Adventist Frontier Missions Europe is an independent ministry that supports the mission of the Seventh-day AdventistⓇ Church; however, it is not part of, affiliated with, or supported by the General Conference of Seventh-day AdventistsⓇ, or any affiliates known as the Seventh-day AdventistⓇ Church. Thus, any content or opinions expressed, implied or included in or with the services offered by Adventist Frontier Missions Europe are solely those of Adventist Frontier Missions Europe and not those of the Seventh-day AdventistⓇ Church.

For security reasons, the identity of this missionary cannot be shown.

She serves in a country where openly sharing the Gospel carries risks—not only for herself, but also for the people she serves alongside.

Yet even there, where circumstances are far from ideal, God continues to open doors.

In this short story, she shares an important reminder: if we wait for perfect conditions, perfect timing, or perfect words, we may never speak at all.

The people God places in our path today need to know His love today.

Take a moment to listen to her story.

Home. 🇷🇴

After weeks spent in the jungle villages of Mindoro among the Mangyan tribes, our team has safely arrived back to Romania.

It’s difficult to put this trip into words.

We left with suitcases full of supplies and plans. We came back with stories, lessons, faces we will not forget, and hearts that were deeply moved.

Over these past weeks, we saw patients lined up for hours waiting for care. We watched children laugh with all their hearts over the simplest things. We worked in the heat, got tired, adjusted plans constantly, learned to slow down, and learned again that mission is never just about “helping people.” It changes the people who go too.

A new church was built. Medical and dental care reached remote villages. Friendships were formed. Seeds were planted.

And somewhere between the long drives, dusty roads, evening worships, construction work, and conversations with local families, God reminded us once again that He is already at work in places many people never see.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for us, encouraged us, supported this project, and followed the journey from afar. You were part of it too. ❤️
Our prayer now is that this mission trip will not end at the airport.

We pray that those who participated will become stronger advocates for the unreached, more intentional disciple-makers, and people who will stay deeply involved in God’s mission long after these weeks in Mindoro are over.

Because the mission field was never meant to be just a place we visit. 🌍

Since we arrived, Mindoro has been home for our team. 🌿

We spent these weeks going from village to village among the Mangyan communities—treating patients, pulling teeth, helping with a few surgeries, running children’s programs, carrying supplies through the heat, mixing concrete, hammering walls, and watching a new church slowly take shape.

Some days felt incredibly full. Other days felt overwhelming.

One thing many of us will carry home is the realization of just how great the need really is. There were moments when volunteers walked away with tears in their eyes, wishing we could stay longer, do more, help more people.

And yet, in the middle of the tiredness, dust, rain, laughter, chaos, and long days, God kept showing up.

Sometimes through a smile or through a helping hand. A patient waiting for hours just to be seen. A small group of believers singing together in a simple village church.

These weeks reminded us that mission is deeply human. It’s messy, humbling, beautiful, and worth it.

As we prepare for the journey home, we are leaving deeply thankful for everything we experienced here. ❤️

Our first Sabbath here on Mindoro has come and gone—and what a gift it was. Different language, different setting, but the same God bringing us together as one family. Singing side by side with local believers, praying together, sharing smiles… heaven felt a little closer.

And today, the work continues.

Across villages, teams are already back at it—treating patients, building, playing with children, listening to stories, and sharing hope in simple, real ways.

It’s beautiful to see how one day of rest and worship fuels so many days of service.

💬 Which moment speaks to you most from these photos? The joy, the worship, or the work?

We arrived on Mindoro yesterday.
Today… it began.

After setting up and preparing everything, the anticipation turned into action.

👉 The medical and dental teams started seeing patients—one after another, almost all day long.
👉 The children’s team filled the space with laughter, games, and more energy than we could keep up with 😄
👉 And the construction team? They got straight to work, laying the foundation—literally.

We’re only at the beginning, and there’s already so much to be grateful for.

Now we need your help 👇
Looking at the pictures…
👉 Which team do you think had the MOST fun today?

Keep praying for strength, wisdom, and open hearts—both for us and for everyone we meet here.

Day 1… and we’re already feeling it 😅

We all gathered for orientation—getting to know each other, sharing stories, and stepping into what this mission is really about. We talked about church planting movements and the project we’re about to serve in… and little by little, a group is becoming a team.
Later on, part of the team headed out for what turned into a very full shopping trip—gathering materials for the children’s programs.

Carts filled up quickly: toys, games, snacks…
each one a small piece of something bigger.

Now we’re curious 👇
👉 What would YOU pick to bring a smile to a child’s face?

Keep us in your prayers as we continue preparing—heart, mind, and everything in between.

It begins. ✈️
Today we left Romania for our mission trip to the Philippines.
One of the most important moments wasn’t boarding the plane—but gathering to pray together. 🙏
We carry your prayers with us.

“I am with you… to the ends of the earth.”

Not just a promise, but a calling.

Many people are still waiting to hear the good news of the Gospel.
We’re at Youth in Mission—come by our booth.
Let’s talk about your part in the mission.

Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)

Our bank statements often reveal more about our priorities than our words do.

If someone looked at how we spend and give, would they see that the mission of God matters to us?
