Since we arrived, Mindoro has been home for our team. 🌿
We spent these weeks going from village to village among the Mangyan communities—treating patients, pulling teeth, helping with a few surgeries, running children’s programs, carrying supplies through the heat, mixing concrete, hammering walls, and watching a new church slowly take shape.
Some days felt incredibly full. Other days felt overwhelming.
One thing many of us will carry home is the realization of just how great the need really is. There were moments when volunteers walked away with tears in their eyes, wishing we could stay longer, do more, help more people.
And yet, in the middle of the tiredness, dust, rain, laughter, chaos, and long days, God kept showing up.
Sometimes through a smile or through a helping hand. A patient waiting for hours just to be seen. A small group of believers singing together in a simple village church.
These weeks reminded us that mission is deeply human. It’s messy, humbling, beautiful, and worth it.
As we prepare for the journey home, we are leaving deeply thankful for everything we experienced here. ❤️
