Model European Union Iasi Simulation of the ordinary legislative procedure of the institutions of the European Union.

MODEL EUROPEAN UNION IASI is a one-of-a-kind simulation of EU decision making and policy where you will have the opportunity to find out how European Union works. You will discover the behind-the-curtains work of the European Parliament and Council of European Union. During the three days of MEU, you will debate real-life EU legislative proposals and impersonate a minister or MEP in the EU law-making process.

Meet Apachiței Ioan Dumitru, Curea Georgiana and Petrescu Bogdan-Alexandru.
Nine years ago, a group of remarkable students decided that it was time to bring MEU’s story to Iași…and the rest is history.💫

At the beginning of the ninth edition of Model European Union, we had the opportunity to learn about their perspective on this beautiful project and how MEU has shaped them.

They started the journey. We continue the mission. Together we write the next chapter of MEU!💙
