On September 28th, we’re changing the rules of the game a bit at Toastmasters Spotlight Iași.
Club members are taking the stage for the Club Contest.
Two rounds, two different challenges:
👉 Humorous Speech Contest: original 5–7 minute speeches where contestants will try to make the audience laugh and convey an idea.
👉 Table Topics Contest: this is where spontaneity kicks in. Contestants get the exact same topic and have just 1–2 minutes to improvise a speech on the spot.

And the stakes go beyond contest night. 🏆

The winners will represent Toastmasters Spotlight Iași at the Area Contest.

Until then, on September 28th, we look forward to seeing you support your favorites, meet new people, and watch live what a Toastmasters contest looks like.

🌟 Huge cheers for Sai! 🎉👏

Sai Vamsi has completed Level 1 of the Persuasive Influence path, and we’re so excited to celebrate this milestone with him! 🙌✨

Along the way, Sai delivered four memorable speeches, each bringing a different idea, story, and perspective to the stage:

💬 “Tradition to Tinder”
💬 “The Dark”
💬 “The Real Criminal”
💬 “The Snowman and The Butterfly”

From exploring traditions and modern relationships to darker themes, unexpected perspectives, and powerful stories, Sai has shown us his ability to keep an audience curious and engaged. 🎤✨

Completing Level 1 is a great first step in developing the confidence and skills needed to influence, connect, and inspire through speaking. And Sai is already bringing his own unique voice to the journey!

👏 Congratulations, Sai!
Here’s to more bold ideas, compelling stories, and unforgettable speeches ahead. Keep going — this is only the beginning! 🚀🌟

Welcome to Spotlight, Ioana! ✨
As an architect, Ioana already knows how to design spaces that inspire and connect people. Now she’s here to design something just as powerful — her voice and presence on stage.
In just a short time with us, she has already inspired a colleague to take on the role of Grammarian. It’s a beautiful reminder of how a small gesture can motivate others and create positive change.
👏 Ioana, we’re excited to see you grow in confidence, creativity, and leadership with us. Welcome to the family — we can’t wait to watch you shine in the Spotlight! 💙

🌟 Huge cheers for Angela! 🎉👏

Angela-Elena Ifrim has completed Level 4 of the Presentation Mastery path, and we couldn’t be prouder of her! 🙌✨

This level brought a great mix of speaking, learning and stepping up to new challenges. Along the way, Angela worked on four projects:

💬 “Questions Are the Answers” — Managing a Difficult Audience
💬 “Accept the Challenge!” — Q&A Session
💬 “Selecting Your Topic” — Better Speaker Series training
💬 Pathways Educational Program — Club Success Series training

With every project, Angela continued to strengthen not only her speaking skills, but also her ability to connect with an audience, handle challenging moments, and confidently share her ideas.

Reaching Level 4 is a fantastic milestone — and it’s a wonderful reflection of Angela’s dedication to learning, growing, and continuously challenging herself. 🌱🎤

👏 Congratulations, Angela!
Your journey is a great reminder that every speech, every challenge, and every step outside our comfort zone helps us become better speakers and stronger communicators.

Keep going — Level 5 is waiting! 🚀✨
