As we are back from the incredible "Step Up for Climate" Youth Exchange in Kemer, Türkiye, we kept our promise not to leave that inspiration behind in Antalya! 🌍✨ We recently gathered our fellow volunteers at our NGO in Iași to share everything we learned about climate action, biodiversity, and sustainable living, because true impact happens when we share the spark and bring that Erasmus+ energy straight back to our local community. 🇷🇴🌱
We kicked things off by walking everyone through our journey in Kemer, from interviewing local shop owners about climate change to our hands-on beach clean-up on the Çıralı Coast. 🏖️🗑️ We then showcased the project outputs we helped build, including a digital green map of Kemer created with QGIS, alongside advocacy posters and creative eco-fashion ideas developed during the exchange. 🗺️🎨
To really bring our international experience to life, we dimmed the lights and premiered the highlight video we created with our cross-border teams, capturing all the hard work and amazing friendships built along the way.🍿 We wrapped up the session with an open, inspiring discussion on how we can take these zero-waste strategies and environmental lessons learned abroad and turn them into real, local actions right here in Romania. 💡♻️
