I love Galati Curge dinspre Braila, ajunge la Galati, se bifurca la Tulcea si se imbratiseaza cu Marea Neagra.

Numele orasului este foarte vechi si provine din alipirea cuvantului “gal” ( murdar,noroi, negru) si sufixul “at”, singularul “Galat”, a devenit mai apoi “Galati”.
