Today we are celebrating the World Environment Day!

For us in the naval transport, this is a reminder that there is an urgent need to address the environmental footprint of maritime transport.

The 2026 global maritime and naval transport outlook points toward a year of moderate trade growth, a massive wave of upcoming fleet deliveries, and strict new regulatory pressures.

According to projections from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), total seaborne trade volumes are expected to stabilize at an average annual growth rate of 2% over the medium term.

For 2026, the official theme for World Environment Day (WED) is "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future"

Let's increase our efforts in designing and implementation sollutions for increasing climate resilience in our sector!
