We took part into this meeting and we got to oportunity to talk about the everyday problems we are facing on the field. We find it surprising that the animal police is complaining about the fact that 12 years later people in Romania still don't know they are supposed to chip and spay their dogs. For all these years the rescue organisations in Romania have worked hard on fulfilling the duties of the Romanian authorities without much support from the state. If there weren't for us and other people like us that are passionate about resuing and sacrifice a lot, the situation in Romania would be much worse than it is today. We know how it all started 20 years ago when we had hundred of strays on the street. With constant and restless eforts we spayed and rescued for all this time, meanwhile the authorities were harrasing and putting more on more pressure on NGO's. The truth must be spoken out loud and many things still have to change!
