‼️ Update about the cat found in terrible health condition who was begging for help‼️

It's a very affectionate young boy, only 1-2 years old which either was born on the street or had a family who abandoned him.
In any scenario, we can only understand from the way he looks that he suffered a lot on the street especially during the cold season when the lack of food and of a warm sheltered place made his immunity to dropp dramatically.
The microscopic test for mange is negative.
Instead, the terrible skin condition he has it's caused by demodecs infestation and that is related to very poor immunity.
Initially we thought he is blind but fortunately he is not.
His eyelids are very inflamated because of the generalized inflammation in the body, from Demodecs.
He received Bravecto tablet for the Demodecs infection, this tablet also working as an external deworming.
He also received Internal deworming tablet.
He was tested Fiv (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) / Felv (Feline Leukemia Virus) -having fortunately negative results.
He is now in our place, with a soft bed, good food, water & vitamins.
Next week, once he will be a bit stronger, we will start his vaccination.
His suffering from the past while was on the street by himself has ended fortunately.
From now on, he has us to help him get over the treatment/healing period and even if he is not free of "suffer" as yet because of the Demodecs tough effect on his body, we are happy that he can feel loved and well looked after ❤️
All his care that includes : blood tests, internal & external dewormings, vaccination, castration, vitamins & very good quality food and possibly a medicated bath, will add up to quite high costs, around 300 Euro in total.

We will help him recover and as soon as he will be ready for adoption, we will try to find the perfect family for him.
