the Berlinale and participant at a script-lab in Poland, Ioana considers that there are never enough film events & activities.
“JJ Films & Culture” debut project (MAY 2010) “Romanian Film Days in Santiago de Chile” has had no precedent and the Chileans could enjoy Romania’s best films. Then came 2011 and the next projects which were focused on EVS (European Voluntary Service). “JJ Films & Culture” managed to both send & receive volunteers, as well as offer counseling for those young Romanians who intended to become international volunteers. However, starting with 2012, “JJ Films & Culture” has shifted its attention towards projects involving BIO-diversity through preservation of nature, traditions and customs in Transylvania. Its pilot-project “POSAGA: the authentic Transylvanian village Community” received a quite high feedback in the Internet. Therefore, the NGO decided to continue supporting Posaga-Community by launching in Summer 2013 the project “The dowry-box”. Both projects have been filmed & photographed professionally and transferred to high-profile social media pages.
