There are places you do not simply visit. There are roads you do not travel merely to reach a destination. And there are names in history that must never become just names.

On 26 September 2026, Green Knights România V returned to Oarba de Mureș for our 3rd Official Memorial Run, continuing a tradition born from respect for those who gave everything and never returned home.

Between 16 September and 6 October 1944, the hills and fields around Oarba de Mureș became the scene of some of the fiercest fighting involving the Romanian Army during the campaign for the liberation of Northern Transylvania. Romanian soldiers fought and fell on this ground, and the earth itself became part of the history they left behind.

Today, the monument and cemetery at Oarba de Mureș stand in silence. But silence does not mean absence. Behind every grave was a son, a brother, a husband, a father. A young man who had a life waiting for him, people who loved him, and a home to which he was meant to return. They did not.

That is why we ride here. Not for the kilometres, not for the motorcycles or for the photographs.

We ride because remembrance is a form of duty.

As a MMC, we carry a particular connection to the men who served before us. We may ride different roads and live in a different time, but the values of service, loyalty, courage, brotherhood and respect remain familiar.

At Oarba de Mureș, we leave the bikes behind for a moment and let history speak. We remember those whose names are carved in stone, those whose names are known, and those whose final resting place remains unknown. We remember the families who were left waiting. We remember the sacrifice that cannot be measured simply in numbers, and we remind ourselves that history is not something that happened only in books.

It happened here. To real people. And because we remember, they are not forgotten.

Green Knights România V will continue to return, because some roads are worth travelling again and again. Because some places deserve our presence and because those who gave everything for their country deserve more than a date in a history book.

They deserve to be remembered.

Lest we forget.

There are many ways to serve: sometimes it is measured in kilometres, in the miles beneath our wheels and the roads that bring us together. Sometimes it is measured in remembrance, in the names we refuse to forget, in the stories we carry, and in the silence we keep for those who came before us. And sometimes, service takes another form.

On 23 September, in the heart of Târgu Mureș, Green Knights România V had the honour of co-organizing RequieMozart, an extraordinary production of Teatrul Scena Targu-Mures, created as part of their 25 years of activity.

Inside the walls of the Medieval Fortress, theatre and music came together in a powerful celebration of art, humanity and life. Inspired by an idea from Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus and brought to the stage under the artistic direction of our brother Pancu Liviu, the production brought together dozens of artists, musicians and collaborators in a performance that went far beyond the stage.

Because this event was not only about Mozart. It was about people. About the fragility of life, the beauty of existence, and the things that remain after the music fades. And it was about solidarity.

The final performance carried a charitable purpose, with funds raised to support oncology patients receiving treatment and post-treatment care at the Mureș County Emergency Hospital.

As a military motorcycle club, we believe that service does not end when the engine stops.

Brotherhood means being present.
Respect means standing beside those who need us.
Integrity means doing what is right even when nobody is watching.
And service means understanding that sometimes the most important journey is the one we make for someone else.

We are proud to have stood alongside Teatrul Scena and all those who made RequieMozart possible.

Different uniforms. Different instruments. Different ways of serving. But one common purpose: to stand together, to give something of ourselves, and to leave behind something that matters.

We serve, we ride and we stand together.

Green Knights România V MMC vă invită miercuri, 23 septembrie 2026, să fim împreună la o seară specială dedicată comunității moto.

Ne întâlnim la spectacolul „Requiem Mozart”, în regia lui Liviu Pancu, de la ora 19:00, la Scena Amfiteatru Cetate, Târgu Mureș.

Dincolo de pasiunea pentru două roți, comunitatea moto înseamnă camaraderie, prietenie și oameni care aleg să fie împreună. Pe 23 septembrie avem ocazia să ducem acest spirit și într-un cadru cultural deosebit.

Ne-ar face plăcere să fim cât mai mulți și să petrecem această seară împreună.

RIDE OF REMEMBRANCE – OARBA DE MUREȘ

3rd Official Memorial Run

Some roads take us somewhere.
Others take us back to those who came before us.

On 26 September 2026, Green Knights România V will ride once again to Oarba de Mureș, to remember the Romanian soldiers who gave everything for their country.

This is not a ride about speed, distance, or destination.

It is about a road that has become a bridge between generations.
About motorcycles that carry more than riders.
About stopping for a moment in a place where history still speaks, even in silence.

We will ride together, as we have done before, and we will stand together at the Heroes’ Monument of Oarba de Mureș.

No reenactment.
No spectacle.
Just the living, remembering the absent.

We don’t count the fallen. We remember them.
