Some happy endings simply take a little longer… ✨

After almost 5 years spent behind shelter bars, Ashanti is finally home. 🏡🤍

For so long, this sweet senior girl watched seasons pass by while waiting for someone to choose her. She grew older in the shelter, overlooked again and again — but she never lost her gentle soul.

When Ashanti arrived in foster care at around 10 years old, she was shy and unsure. But with patience, soft blankets, sunny naps, kind voices, and love, she slowly learned what safety feels like.

And then something beautiful happened:
Ashanti started to play.

For perhaps the first time in her life, she discovered joy — gently playing with her foster sister Effy, resting peacefully near the heater, and enjoying the quiet comfort of a real home. 🐾

She also went through major medical challenges, including a splenectomy, but thankfully there were no signs of cancer.

Ashanti asked for so little — only kindness and a place where she could finally feel safe.

Now, after years of waiting, Ashanti finally has everything she ever deserved:
A family.
A warm bed.
And people who love her exactly as she is. 🤍

Senior dogs are so often overlooked, but their love is deep, pure, and unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who believed in Ashanti’s happy ending.
Many thanks to her sugar momma
Many thanks to her German adopters who choose not to buy dogs and adopt from a country where mistreating dogs is an usual thing.
Stories like hers remind us that it is never too late for love. ✨

Dottie update: somehow she got bigger overnight. 🥹☁️

A few weeks ago she was tiny enough to fit in one hand, confused by food, fascinated by everything around her, and completely convinced our cats were part of her family from day one.

Now she runs through the house like she owns the place, steals toys from dogs ten times her size, and wakes up every morning ready to create small amounts of chaos. 💗

She is growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, people, sounds, cuddles, zoomies, and approximately 700 p*e pads per day. 😅

Watching rescue puppies grow safely will never stop feeling magical to us.
From surviving… to simply being babies.

Dottie is currently accepting:
☁️ compliments
🥔 forehead kisses
🧻 p*e pad donations
🍖 puppy food support
💗 and dramatic reactions every time she gets bigger

Thank you to everyone helping us give tiny creatures like her a safe start in life. ✨
And of course, thank you to the fosters we couldn't do this without.

Still 50% small potato,
50% pink cloud,
just with longer legs now.

Very sad news…

Our tiny boy, Forest, has passed away.

During the night, Forest suddenly developed worrying symptoms. We rushed him to the clinic immediately and he was admitted emergently.

He was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. The doctors and medical team did everything they could for him — oxygen therapy & medication.

But Forest was too weak to keep fighting.

He left this world far too soon, but he was never alone. He was loved from the very first moment he arrived. He knew warmth, safety, full bellies, and love.

Our hearts are shattered, but we are grateful for the short time we had with our brave little boy.

Run free, sweet Forest. 🌿

Please keep little Ivy in your thoughts as she continues fighting. 🤍

The emergency treatment, hospitalization, and diagnostics cost 600 lei, and we would deeply appreciate any help towards covering these expenses as we continue caring for little Ivy as well.
