Today, July 18, we celebrate Chokhor Duchen, which commemorates the Buddha’s first teaching, the Turning of the Wheel of Dharma, delivered at Deer Park in Sarnath, India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha meditated for seven weeks before compassionately sharing the Four Noble Truths with his first five disciples.

In honor of this special day, we are sharing our call for the help needed to finish the attic of our Retreat Center dedicated to the spreading and preserving of the Dharma and to the fullfilment of His Holiness's and Lama Zopa Rinpoche's vison. This merit-multiplying day is a great time to donate to help keep the wheel turning!🤗🙏🪷📿
