Some more insulation, the final steps of the prosperity fountain and a young fellow overseeing what will follow in the week to come:: May 4-10 will be a full working retreat with building and gardening activities. 🌳🎄🚌🏠⛩️

On Saturday (May 9) we will celebrate together the week's progress and the annual cleaning of the stupa. Seeing you all very soon!🙂🥰🙂💚

salutare voua!! suntem pregatiti pentru saptamana de munca (4-10 mai) intensiva pentru realizarea peretilor mansardei si amenajarea peisagistica a curtii Retreatului. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🙂🙏Va puteti alatura ca voluntari oricand in aceasta perioada doar sa ne anutati! mancare si cazarea sunt asigurate de centru :)

At the begining of this month FPMT (our mother organisation) kindly offered a grant of 2500 $ (coming specifically from the Practice and Retreat Fund) to the Centrul Budist "White Mahakala" Study Group 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰😍 for the purpose of building the interior staircase of the Retreat Cabin. This project is work in construction now right in time for providing safe access to our building site in the attic. The staircase will be completed with proper wooden stairs and a railing after the hard and dirty work in the attic will be completed.😃🙂😇

🛠️📢COME AND JOIN THE VOLUNTEER TEAM FOR BUILDING THE WALLS IN THE ATTIC DURING MAY 4-10!! You can come any numbers of days you wish and contribute to the building of this amazing project. Food and accommodation is provided🙏🥰

....completing the attic's subfloor prepares the ground for our 10 days working retreat (May 1-10). Join us for any period of time during these 10 days for:

.....the heating and plumbing equipment is now in place in the Retreat Cabin's attic!! Big thank you to Cristi & Mihai for their volunteering and support🙏🙂🥰 Subflooring is next....

PHASE 1 already started with preparations for our 10 days work retreat in MAY 1-10 with Castor, when we will build the wooden structure of the attic walls. Please write to us if you would like to volunteer for any period of time during this 10 days.🙏🙂

1. the needed wood for the walls and roof was purchased and deposited
2. 6 cubic meter of sand and 30 bags of cement were provided

Happy Lhabab Düchen to everyone! 🙏📿📿🥳 Lhabab Duchen is one of the four great holy days of the Buddhist calendar and celebrates Guru Shakyamuni Buddha’s return to Earth from the God Realm of the Thirty-Three after teaching Dharma for three months to the gods, including his mother, Mayadevi, who had died a week after Buddha’s birth and been reborn there. This day is particularly conducive to engaging in meritorious actions, because the effects of each action taken multiply a hundred million times. 💛💚❤️

Today we celebrate the completion of our 2025's building work:
- a total of 12 340 euros were raised and used for the completion of the Stupa and the Retreat's House GROUNDFLOOR (Gompa. Teacher's Area, Bathroom & Kitchen) including installations, wall finishings, flooring, interior and exterior lighting

And START FUNDRAISING for 2026's BUILDING PHASE:
- about 25 000 euros are needed for the completion of the ATTIC FLOOR: insulating the roof, building the partition walls, installing the doors, finishings and floorings, tiling and building the staircase etc
