We had the pleasure of welcoming Prof.univ.dr. Bogdan Negrea, professor at ASE București (FABBV), for an insightful session with our students at the FSEGA Investment Club.

Bogdan delivered an engaging presentation centered on Financial Engineering, offering valuable insights into the microstructure of financial markets and the role of derivative instruments in managing portfolio risk. His approach combined theoretical depth with practical relevance, helping students better understand the mechanisms behind modern investment strategies.

The topic naturally sparked strong interest among our members, particularly those passionate about advanced investment techniques, leading to an interactive and thought-provoking discussion throughout the session.

We had the pleasure of welcoming back Roland Nagy, CFA for another outstanding session with our students.

Roland delivered an engaging and highly practical presentation, sharing valuable insights on how to approach markets, evaluate companies, and select high-quality securities for a resilient portfolio.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Banca Transilvania for hosting our students on October, 30 at the bank’s headquarters in Cluj-Napoca for an insightful and interactive session. Participants from the FSEGA Investment Club had the valuable opportunity to engage in an open discussion with Ioan Alin Nistor, Chief Economist at BT, and Horge Calin Marius, Senior HR Consultant at BT.

The conversation provided meaningful perspectives on both the current state of the Romanian economy and the professional pathways within Banca Transilvania. We highly appreciate the openness and willingness of our speakers to address students’ most relevant questions, helping them better understand the connection between academic knowledge, the dynamics of the financial sector, and real career opportunities.

We extend our thanks once again to Banca Transilvania for their continuous support in fostering the development of future finance professionals.

The latest session of the FSEGA Investment Club challenged participants to evaluate two publicly listed companies, formulating and debating BUY or SELL recommendations while applying the reasoning and discipline characteristic of professional investment practice. Critical thinking, collaboration, and constructive competition capture the essence of the FSEGA Investment Club’s approach to experiential learning in finance!📈

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Irina Răilean, CFA, Founder of Mosaiq8, for joining us on October, 23 at our first FSEGA Investment Club event of this academic year and for delivering such an engaging and insightful session. Participants had the opportunity to better understand how financial analysts evaluate listed companies, explore key fundamentals driving investment decisions, and gain exposure to real-world analytical thinking.

The session also featured an interactive investment challenge, where students worked in teams to assess two companies, supported by Irina and few Club Board members who are already active in the industry and provided guidance from a professional perspective. The experience concluded with a role-play investment committee, debating BUY vs. SELL decisions based on the presented analyses, a dynamic and highly appreciated format that pushed critical reasoning and teamwork skills to the forefront.

We are grateful to Irina for her expertise, openness, and contribution to bridging the gap between academia and the finance industry. We look forward to continuing to offer impactful learning experiences for students passionate about capital markets!

🏆Rezultatele competiției FSEGA Trading Challenge – Second Edition (5 mai 2025 - 25 iulie 2025)

Avem deosebita plăcere de a anunța câștigătorii celei de-a doua ediții a competiției FSEGA Trading Challenge, desfășurată în parteneriat cu TradeVille.

🔹Pe baza rentabilității portofoliilor realizate în perioada competiției, primii trei participanți clasați sunt:

🥇Graur Vlad – rentabilitate de +39.79%
🥈Sardarescu Andrei – rentabilitate de +38.53%
🥉Pogacean Dacian – rentabilitate de +37.76%

🔹Distincții speciale au fost acordate pentru excelență în redactarea jurnalului de tranzacționare:

Olaru Denis-Constantin – Cel mai bun și complex jurnal, notat cu 10
Ilisuan Iannis – Jurnal foarte bine organizat și argumentat, notat cu 9.7
