We would like to sincerely thank Carpathia Pensii for joining the FSEGA Investment Club for an insightful session dedicated to our students, with special thanks to Mihai Babau, CFA and Catalin Blaga for their engaging presentations.

Mihai introduced students to the Romanian pension system, explaining the differences between Pillar I, II, and III pensions, while also sharing valuable insights into portfolio management and the importance of long-term financial planning.

Catalin offered a practical perspective on the role of the Risk Analysis department, highlighting the responsibilities of a risk analyst and key considerations in investment decision-making and portfolio monitoring.

We especially appreciated the active participation and thoughtful questions from students, helping connect academic knowledge with the realities of the investment and pension fund industry.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Prof.univ.dr. Bogdan Negrea, professor at ASE București (FABBV), for an insightful session with our students at the FSEGA Investment Club.

Bogdan delivered an engaging presentation centered on Financial Engineering, offering valuable insights into the microstructure of financial markets and the role of derivative instruments in managing portfolio risk. His approach combined theoretical depth with practical relevance, helping students better understand the mechanisms behind modern investment strategies.

The topic naturally sparked strong interest among our members, particularly those passionate about advanced investment techniques, leading to an interactive and thought-provoking discussion throughout the session.
