We are proud to share the story of one of our IMMERSED participants, whose journey reflects resilience, growth, and the power of meaningful support.
Tetiana Tokioi has transformed her interest in understanding conflicts into a clear professional direction, now actively facilitating workshops and supporting others in navigating difficult situations with awareness and constructive communication.
⚡ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.
📊 I began my professional career in economics, and even then I noticed that 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, especially in organizations where rules, resources, and responsibilities create tension. Working in finance, I saw clearly: 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬.
🌱 Over time, this interest became personal and I began to explore my own inner processes more deeply. After the full-scale war began, we were forced to flee to Cluj-Napoca, Romania 🇷🇴, where I started working with children. There, I particularly felt how important 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 are for restoring a sense of safety and trust.
💡 In 2023, while working as a facilitator, I discovered the field of 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and realized this was my path. Today, I’m studying this field and work with conflicts using deep communication tools, helping to transform complex situations 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.
🤝 The 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐃 project has become an important platform for my growth. I learned about it from a friend and from our very first interactions, I felt the Fundatia Heks/Eper Romania team’s support, their commitment, and their sincere desire to help Ukrainians unlock their potential and integrate into a new environment.
🧠 Through IMMERSED, I share my experience via trainings and workshops. Participant feedback has shown that this topic is not only relevant but also essential. 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞 “𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐬,” 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.
🗣️ I believe that the key tools are 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and the development of 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 which is the ability to respond to complex situations with awareness, rather than escalating them.
🇺🇦 For Ukrainians in forced migration, sharing experiences is especially valuable. We all follow different paths, and the opportunity to share knowledge helps us adapt faster, make better decisions, and feel the support of the community.
🚀 My next steps include developing my expertise in conflict management, conducting workshops, providing consultations, and using coaching as a tool for change. I also plan to develop communication skills programs for children, as this is an investment in their future.
