RIBA member Group O'Neills Sportswear (Milbro Textile SRL) was present during the visit, highlighting the concrete contribution of Irish investment to the local economy in Giurgiu and the important role our members play in strengthening Romania–Ireland economic relations.
The discussions focused on:
• strengthening public–private partnerships

The visit continued with engagements at the National College “Ion Maiorescu,” the Episcopal Center for Children and Youth, the Giurgiu Free Zone, local industrial facilities, and the County Museum, which hosted a special exhibition dedicated to great Irish writers: Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, James Joyce, and Bram Stoker.
