During July 2023 - January 2024, ARCA has been implementing an awareness raising campaign on migration and refugee movements, sharing with all our members valuable insights on the welcoming and integration of refugees in Romania.
We developed multiple posts that can be reviewed on our page or website: https://www.arca.org.ro/ from studies, articles, posters, info graphics and collab posts together with our partners.
Moreover, people with a migration background often have limited access to platforms where they could share their stories. Therefore, it is essential for organizations to present authentic and inclusive stories of migrants that empower individuals to share them.
One aim was to present why it's important to involve the voices of communities. We invited migrant refugees women to share their insights with us through two interviews and stories. Check here if you have missed it: https://www.arca.org.ro/interview-with-anastasiia/ https://www.arca.org.ro/interview-with-tatiana/
Nevertheless, learning how to better communicate on the visual level as an organization and what steps are still to be made in order to improve in this area were one of the most valuable lessons thus sharing also the communication methodology initially developed within the project accessible here: https://www.arca.org.ro/communication-on-the-subject-of-migration/
The current post is the closure post as part of a series of communication materials with the overall objective to increase awareness around migration-related issues through narratives.
