Bread of Life The Bread of Life Orphanage is located in Brosteni, Romania. The orphanage was opened in September 2003 and has been the home for hundreds of children.

This is a village of 10,000 people, situated in the Carpathian Mountains, near the Ukrainian border. We average between 80-90 children and also run a daily Soup Kitchen for local street children. In Romania our organization has a non-profit (NGO) registration with the government. In the US we have a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit permit. We seek to work with all Christian groups and individuals who share

our desire to rescue the abandoned children of Romania. It is more important for us to "love alike" than it is for us to "believe alike" on non-essential doctrines.

From pulling weeds in the courtyard to washing curtains and cleaning carpets, everyone lends a hand to help keep our home clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

These everyday tasks may seem small, but they help create a place where our children feel safe, cared for, and proud of where they live.
