Este timpul pentru o nouă inițiativă.
Project Summary
Background:
Oina is missing from the list of grassroots sports practiced at the level of Bucharest. Representative teams are absent at all levels: primary, secondary, and university. School competitions register a very small number of registered teams. Bucharest sports clubs are missing. The sports competitions organized by the Federation, held in Bucharest, take place without the participation of teams from the capital. In 2023, oina benefited from new legislative provisions, but measures regarding their implementation are missing. There are difficulties in having a sufficient human resource to successfully integrate specific oina activities into the annual program. At the capital level, the game of oina presents a novelty element.
We applied for this project because we want to promote the traditional Romanian sport, oina, and integrate it into our existing programs. We believe it is important to revitalize this sport in our community and promote it as a unique recreational and cultural activity.
Objectives:
Ob.1 Acquisition of 3 new competencies necessary for conducting activities characteristic of a team sport practiced outdoors, for a total of 3 CSAMO instructors, with the aim of integrating them into the annual program conducted through the Liviu Rebreanu Center, located in one of the sectors of the capital, within the first 8 months.
Ob.2 Promotion of oina by 4 members through the organization of at least 3 events held at the Liviu Rebreanu Center throughout the project period.
Ob.3 Involvement of 3 proactive individuals in increasing awareness of the importance of practicing oina for a healthy lifestyle, at the level of an authority located in Sector 3 through actions of active citizenship, with 4 public participations throughout the project period.
Implementation:
To fulfill the objectives set in the project, we will implement 3 job shadowing mobilities, each lasting for 3 days, involving a total of 10 individuals from CSAMO staff, including employees, instructors, club members, and volunteers. These mobilities will address the following themes:
In the first mobility, we will focus on team sports management for children and youth, emphasizing communication and networking skills.
The second mobility will concentrate on promoting sports events, networking, and the role of the event animator.
In the final mobility, we will explore the role and responsibilities of the local public authority in sports, promoting active citizenship, discussing aspects of sports activity financing, and participatory budgeting.
Results:
The improved and acquired skills during the mobilities will have effects that will reflect in the enhancement of the annual program, making oina more widely known and promoted, leading to increased participation among children and youth.
There will be a more active involvement at the level of authorities. CSAMO's visibility and reputation will increase at the local authority level. The organization's visibility and impact in the school community and its proximity will increase. This project will add to CSAMO's portfolio a first experience within a project funded by the Erasmus+ program. It will diversify the organization's perspective and approach. It will integrate the Liviu Rebreanu Center into a European network dedicated to grassroots sports. The collaboration and exchange of resources and expertise for CSAMO will reach a European level.
