Every year, in Rotary, the President in function makes the rotation with next year President, handing over the responsibility of carrying forward the club’s mission: running relevant projects, running the club management, building friendships and serving the community in need.
On 21st of Jun'26, our club Rotary Club București Levant , together with Rotary Club București Cișmigiu and the younger members of the Cișmigiu family, celebrated the Presidential Rotation and the projects of the Rotarian year that ended on 30th of June'2026.
Our colleague Ümit Batmaz, President 2025–2026, made presidential rotation to Dan Cretescu, President 2026–2027.
Dear Umit, we thank you for the time, energy and service you have given to the club and the community, together with your colleagues in the club Board. It has been a year that has truly united people, ideas and projects.
Dear Dan, we wish you good luck in the year that is beginning! We wish you meaningful projects, all good energy and an impact that will last.
Unite for Good was the motto under which Umit Batmaz led his term. With discretion and firmness, two qualities that rarely go together, he did exactly that: he united. People, ideas, projects. We thank him for a year in which the club was closer to the community through meaningful projects and actions.
The new Rotary year comes with its own call: Create Lasting Impact. A natural continuation, because what united can now last. This mission is not easy at all. We, the colleagues, are by his side, as we have been by each president so far.
For 20 years, "Gathered as one, gathering as each one!"
