💡Did you know they are called “Mucenici”? [moo-cheh-NEECH] They come in two different versions, both equally delicious.

🧁 They are a Romanian sweet tradition shaped like the figure “8” which represents either the human shape of the martyrs or, in some interpretations, a symbol of infinity and union with the Cosmos, in alignment with the myth of the Heaven Gates opening.

🌸✨ Welcome Spring the Romanian Way – Happy Mărțișor!✨
Beginning today, March 1st, Romania celebrates one of its most beautiful traditions: Mărțișor! ❤️🤍

Mărțișor marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes renewal, hope, and new beginnings. On this day, people offer small tokens tied with a red and white string to friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

❤️ Red symbolizes love, energy, and life

These little charms are worn throughout March as a sign of good luck and are traditionally kept until you see the first blooming tree 🌳🌸 — then you tie the string to a branch to make a wish!
