💡Did you know they are called “Mucenici”? [moo-cheh-NEECH] They come in two different versions, both equally delicious.
🧁 They are a Romanian sweet tradition shaped like the figure “8” which represents either the human shape of the martyrs or, in some interpretations, a symbol of infinity and union with the Cosmos, in alignment with the myth of the Heaven Gates opening.
