Hello everyone!
My name is Maria Ursu, I am a junior at “Gheorghe Sincai” National College and I have the greatest honour to be the Secretary General of the second edition of Spiru MUN💜 I am beyond grateful that I can continue this dear project alongside some of the best MUN-ers I can think of!
I can start now by making all these promises that our amazing team will provide you, prospective delegates and chairpersons, with the most astonishing experience, the greatest MUN of all times, but truth be told, that is not my goal for this year’s edition. Yes, we aspire to perfection, but we are not perfect, not as organisers, not as delegates nor chairpersons and most obvious, not as members of this community. However, I think that each and everyone one of us(including you) can be a source of INSPIRATION! And my most important goal for this year’s edition is to bring inspiration to every person that steps foot at our conference!
Through a slightly changed structure of the committees, undebated topics, a ton of new people joining our community and, of course, experimented members of the MUN community, I wish for everyone to find a new source of inspiration. In my opinion, that is the most important thing that’s been missing from MUNs: the pure excitement(and fear) of not knowing how to handle a POI, even as an experimented delegate, the joy of a delegate asking you, their chairperson, for feedback, because you can see the delegate is trying their best and genuinely wants to evolve. Sometimes we all forget what MUNs are really about, we forget to let ourselves be inspired or inspire others, but I will do everything in my power to make sure that Spiru MUN 2024 changes all of that!✨
All you have to do is use all your academic skills and come with your social battery charged to the maximum, because the rest is on us! And we haven’t even begun to use our inspiration for this conference💜

Hi! My name is Tiana, and I am the Head of Conference for the 2nd edition of Spiru MUN & a senior at Spiru.

This project is exceptionally significant to me, as I recall drawing the outlines for it two years ago, brainstorming and seeking the best way to make its first edition a reality. Putting our plan into practice began around this time last year, and today we can proudly attest to its resounding success!

Being a part of this secretariat once again fills me with immense enthusiasm, as I have the opportunity to contribute to my passion project one final time before my university journey.

I eagerly anticipate the participation of both familiar faces from the previous edition and newcomers, along with anyone who is equally excited for our project. Ambitious people, determined minds, and the potential to become tomorrow’s leaders. 🤍

My name is Rareș and I have the honor of serving as the Academic Advisor of this year’s edition of SpiruMUN, a conference that I wish to assist to the full extent of my abilities.

Though my work will naturally be focused on offering the best possible academic experience for our participants, my experience has taught me that what matters just as much is to have an environment in which to develop without judgement or distraction. The reason I joined this project is because I trust my colleagues to provide this for you, whether you decide to sign up as a chairperson or as a delegate.

My advice: be sure to attend, otherwise you will miss out on a great time!

Hello! My name is Ekaterina, but I go by Katya, and I’m truly grateful to continue with Spiru MUN for its second year as Strategy Manager! As one of the project’s founders, I’ve seen how monumental it is to find objectives for bettering the community, which is why, this year, my focus is our commitment to connecting people across regions, economic backgrounds, interests, social challenges, etc. MUN isn’t just an academic space. It is also a place to create your network of successful and talented individuals who teach you how to be a better communicator, analyst, problem-solver, and friend. I hope to bring to this year’s edition these valuable opportunities for people who need them the most.
This conference has been the culmination of my professional and personal development throughout high school, and it’s safe to say I’ve always worked towards achieving excellence with those involved. I’m so happy to implement what I’ve learned from the last edition and improve it for you, the participants. Spiru MUN has meant the world to me, demonstrating that I can dream bigger and bigger each time. I hope you’ll give us a chance, and dream big!
