ANOTHER SHY MOTHER. ANOTHER FACTORY. ANOTHER LITTER BORN WITHOUT A CHANCE 💔

There were five puppies. Now there are only four.

Today I received a call from a kind man working inside the factory. He told me that one of the little puppies was trembling, crying and clearly not well, and asked if I could help.

When we reached him, the poor baby was covered in flies. 😔 It seems he had been hit by a car. There was blood coming from his ears and signs of serious head trauma.

With the help of a volunteer, he was immediately transported to the veterinary clinic. He is now hospitalized and in critical condition. We don’t know if he will survive, but we had to give him every possible chance. 🙏💔

Meanwhile, his siblings and their shy mother are still at the factory. At least we can try to change their future.

We want to de-flea the mother and puppies and, most importantly, spay the mother so this cycle stops here. No more puppies born unwanted, vulnerable and in danger.

🚗 Transport to the vet — 80 km away: €35
🐶 We also need help with de-flea treatment for Mum and the puppies.

And the greatest miracle of all would be adoption. ❤️ A real home, instead of growing up in a factory and becoming another adult dog nobody notices.

YES, WE MADE IT! 😭❤️ I’M SO HAPPY!

We need you now 🙏

After more than 20 failed attempts, I finally managed to catch her to be spayed — the shy, traumatized girl who kept giving birth to litter after litter in the forest.

She is only around 3 years old, yet she has already had three litters.

The puppies from her previous two litters are still with me. They grew into large dogs and never had a real chance to be adopted. From her latest litter, five puppies survived. 💔

This is exactly the cycle we desperately need to stop.

I tried everything to catch her — sedation, help from a vet, different methods, again and again. Nothing worked. She is one of the most frightened dogs I have ever tried to catch.

But she isn’t difficult because she wants to be. She is traumatized. Who knows what happened to her and what made such a young dog so terrified of humans?

But TODAY — WE FINALLY DID IT! 🙏

Thanks to this last litter, I finally managed to get close enough and, with enormous difficulty, get their mum safely into the cage.

And seeing her there makes me incredibly happy.

Because today, this cage is not a prison. It means no fourth litter. No fifth litter. No more puppies from her born in the forest without a future.

Now we are driving to the vet, and I really need your help to cover today’s costs:

🚗 Fuel for approximately 70 km: €30–35
🏥 Spaying: approximately €85
🕷️ Tick treatment: approximately €18

🙏 Around €135 in total.

It is so important to invest in spaying and prevention if we truly want to reduce abandonment and suffering. I really hope we can organize another spay campaign in our area soon.

Ideally, we would always have funds available for cases like this, but we don’t. When an opportunity or emergency comes, we go to the vet first and try to cover the bill afterwards — very often creating another debt.

Today was her chance, and I couldn’t let it go. ❤️

My sweet Alma, please forgive me. 🖤
All I ever wanted was for you to know what it meant to be home — to feel safe, loved, and surrounded by those who cared for you.

You were happy with us for four beautiful years, surrounded by so many doggy friends. You loved being at home with us.

But I dreamed of something even more for you.
I dreamed of your own real forever home. I dreamed of seeing you stretched out on a sofa, sleeping peacefully, spoiled and loved by your very own family. I wanted you to experience the life every dog deserves — not just being rescued, but truly belonging to someone.

Yesterday was supposed to be a moment of joy.
I hugged you for the last time. I watched you cool yourself in your little bucket of water for the last time… without knowing these would become my final memories of you.

You were supposed to go home next week.
Never, not even for a second, did I imagine that your journey to Bucharest would become your last journey. I never imagined I was saying goodbye forever.

You were surrendered because of your laryngeal paralysis, but that never defined you. You were strong. You adapted to everything life gave you. You lived happily with your little pack of friends, and through it all, you remained the sweetest, most loving soul.

You were pure love.
You were happiness.
You were one of those beautiful souls who deserved so much more time.

And perhaps that is what hurts me the most — I had so many dreams left for you.
I wanted to see that photo of you on your own sofa. I wanted to know that somewhere, someone was calling you their girl. I wanted you to have your very own family and to finally know that you were home forever.

Now that picture will exist only in my heart. 💔

I have cried until there are no tears left. I feel empty and numb. There have been so many losses, so many pieces taken from my heart, that I honestly don’t know how much more it can carry.

Today my heart feels black. 🖤

I loved you so deeply, Alma.
And I am so terribly sorry that our story ended this way.

Fly gently, my beautiful girl.
Fly free, my little angel.
Maybe somewhere beyond this life, there is the softest sofa waiting just for you. 🖤😭

My biggest dream is, of course, to find them forever homes. But until that day comes, they still need food every single day, carers, medical care, safety and love.
