Tribute to my beloved Grivei Braveheart who joined the other furry angels in heaven last week after about 11 years in a home in Germany 🌈💔
This is a tribute to a very special soul who came into my life about 11 years ago.
With much regret, I lost the page of Grivei Braveheart when our main rescue page was hacked about two and a half years ago. So many memories and photos disappeared, but his memory will never leave me.
Grivei is now back in heaven, where he came from. I believe he has met his best friend Skye again, my soulmate, and now they can simply play together forever.
Grivei was a life lesson for me. I learned so much from him. Despite all the cruelty he had been through, he still found a way to love and trust. There is one picture I sadly cannot find anymore, but it will stay forever in my heart and in my mind: the moment we first met and the way he hugged me.
For the ones who met Grivei, I am sure they will never forget him. He had something truly special. He could so easily make thousands fall in love with him. Sadly, he was a cruelty case, but he never allowed his painful past to define who he became.
His angel wings grew last week, when age and illness finally became too much and he could no longer wake up.
I hope I will find the old videos one day, so I can show you all what a happy dog he became. Because despite everything he had suffered, he chose love. He chose trust. He chose life.
His special place in my heart will never be lost. I will always love him, and I hope that one day we will meet again.
For almost 12 beautiful years, Grivei lived in Germany, surrounded by care and love. From my heart, many thanks to RespekTiere Leben and his family for giving him safety, love, and dignity until the end.
