Right now, Bobitzas ARK Shelter Romania is home to 72 dogs 🦮🐕🦺🐕 and 20 cats🐈⬛🐈. Out of those 20 cats, 14 are tiny, orphaned kittens. 🥹🐱 We are facing an heartbreaking dilemma every single day: we do not have a dedicated, safe space for them. Putting them all in one crowded room is a death sentence. Kittens have incredibly fragile immune systems. For them, overcrowding leads to severe stress, which immediately triggers deadly viral and respiratory infections. 😔 Our solution is to build a special 18-square-meter lightweight structure (6x3 meters) dedicated entirely to these babies. It will be built from sandwich panels, which provide perfect thermal insulation for the cold months and are 100% washable and easy to disinfect. It will also connect to a secure outdoor "catio" so they can enjoy fresh air safely until they grow big, vaccinated, and independent.To turn this dream into a reality, we need to raise an estimated budget of €5000. This budget will cover: 🔩The structure and insulated sandwich panels. 🧱The concrete foundation/floor. 🪟PVC door and windows for proper ventilation. 🛠️Labor costs and secure outdoor fencing.
