🌪️ It was a hectic week of miracles, exhaustion, and new beginnings at BOBITZA'S ARK - MINI-SHELTER! 🐾😭❤️
It was that kind of week that leaves you completely drained, yet deeply reminded of why we do this.
Behind the scenes, apart from our grueling daily routine of cleaning, feeding, and watering our dogs and cats and already paying a mountain of bills, so many major events happened all at once:
• ✈️🏡 8 lucky dogs left our shelter and went in their foster homes!
• 🛡️💉🐶🐱 All our remaining dogs and cats received their vital annual vaccinations. They now have their health shields secured for the next 365 days.
• ⛪🐾 We rescued a beautiful new small family, a small, brave mother and her 6 helpless pups, saved from danger and a cruel fate in a churchyard. We have fought with every ounce of energy we have left. We have filled bellies, wiped away tears, and saved lives. But the battle never stops, and as we close this heavy week, we are immediately facing our next emergency.
🐱✂️🧑‍⚕️ Right now, we are struggling to raise funds to spay 5 stray cats from the village.
We cannot just keep picking up abandoned boxes of kittens. We must stop the suffering at its very root. Sterilizing these 5 stray females means preventing hundreds of unwanted, fragile babies from being born into a world of starvation and cold. 😿 It is the ultimate act of compassion. 🥹🙏🐾 Together, we are an unbroken chain of hope! 🌍✨

🏗️ Help us build a safe sanctuary for our 14 fragile kittens! 😿🙏🐾 Help us to raise €5000 for this vital project.🧑‍🔧👷
Right now, Bobitzas ARK Shelter Romania is home to 72 dogs 🦮🐕‍🦺🐕 and 20 cats🐈‍⬛🐈. Out of those 20 cats, 14 are tiny, orphaned kittens. 🥹🐱 We are facing an heartbreaking dilemma every single day: we do not have a dedicated, safe space for them. Putting them all in one crowded room is a death sentence. Kittens have incredibly fragile immune systems. For them, overcrowding leads to severe stress, which immediately triggers deadly viral and respiratory infections. 😔 Our solution is to build a special 18-square-meter lightweight structure (6x3 meters) dedicated entirely to these babies. It will be built from sandwich panels, which provide perfect thermal insulation for the cold months and are 100% washable and easy to disinfect. It will also connect to a secure outdoor "catio" so they can enjoy fresh air safely until they grow big, vaccinated, and independent. To turn this dream into a reality, we need to raise an estimated budget of €5000. This budget will cover: 🔩The structure and insulated sandwich panels. 🧱The concrete foundation/floor. 🪟PVC door and windows for proper ventilation. 🛠️Labor costs and secure outdoor fencing. We cannot do this without you. 🥹🩷 Every single brick, every panel, and every euro brings these 14 innocent souls closer to a safe and healthy childhood. Please, help us build their sanctuary. 🙏🐾 No amount is too small! How you can help us build it:

Please SHARE our project! Let’s show these babies that the world can be a safe place. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 🐾❤️

This morning, Tavi set the mobile pen for the 7 dwarfs, with a small dog house inside. 🩷🐶 They seem to like it. 😍

💔 Invizibilă timp de 4 ani, GLORIA își caută miracolul! 🙏🐾

Last day of our holiday. 🌞 A holiday I decided to truly enjoy and stay away from rescuing. I managed to do just that, until yesterday when I saw this poor little 80g baby, only 1 day old, with his umbilical cord still attached. Long story short, the little guy is now safe in our shelter, being cared for by aunties Claire and Wendy until we return. Huge thanks to Claire Slegg and Wendy Durham for stepping up and taking such amazing care of him while we are away. We are so grateful to have you! 🐾❤️
