🤔 Did you know that volunteering through the European Solidarity Corps comes with an official European certificate?

At the end of their volunteering experience, participants receive a Youthpass Certificate — a document issued by the European Commission that recognises the skills and competences developed through non-formal learning.

So, besides memories, friendships and experiences, volunteers also leave with an official certificate that can support future educational, professional and volunteering opportunities 🌍📜

🌍 Different countries. Different cultures. One shared goal: making a positive impact in the community.

Between June 2024 and May 2026, our team brought together international volunteers from Jordan, Algeria, Turkey and France, alongside local volunteers from Botoșani, through European Solidarity Corps activities lasting between 2 and 9 months.

Throughout their volunteering journey, they contributed to a wide range of activities dedicated to young people and the local community. From promoting European values and opportunities offered by the European Union and the European Solidarity Corps, to organizing media literacy workshops and activities focused on combating misinformation and fake news through the initiative “Detectivii Secolului 21”, our volunteers have been actively involved in creating learning opportunities for others.

Beyond the activities themselves, this experience was about building friendships, developing new skills, discovering different cultures and proving that solidarity goes beyond borders.

Thank you to all the volunteers who chose to dedicate their time, energy and creativity to our community. 💜

✨ Voluntariatul începe cu o conversație.

Ne-am bucurat să participăm la Volonterre, un eveniment dedicat promovării voluntariatului și implicării tinerilor în comunitate, unde am avut ocazia să prezentăm oportunitățile oferite de Fundația Județeană pentru Tineret Botoșani și să discutăm cu zeci de tineri interesați să facă primul pas către experiențe noi.

🌍 Unul dintre principalele proiecte prezentate a fost Connect & Change – Volunteering for Botoșani, prin care tinerii pot participa la activități de voluntariat local, workshop-uri, podcasturi, campanii de informare, activități sportive și inițiative dedicate dezvoltării comunității.

🤝 Am vorbit și despre Vol4Refugees, proiectul internațional prin care voluntari din diferite țări europene contribuie la sprijinirea și integrarea refugiaților ucraineni din România, promovând solidaritatea, dialogul intercultural și implicarea civică.

🚆 De asemenea, am prezentat oportunitățile oferite prin DiscoverEU, inițiativa care le permite tinerilor să descopere Europa, să călătorească, să cunoască oameni și culturi noi și să dobândească experiențe care le pot schimba perspectiva asupra lumii.

Ne-am bucurat să întâlnim atât de mulți tineri curioși, implicați și dornici să afle cm pot deveni parte din schimbarea pe care vor să o vadă în comunitate.

💜 Mulțumim organizatorilor, și Consiliului Școlar al Elevilor al Colegiului Național „A.T. Laurian”, pentru invitație, pentru organizarea acestui eveniment și pentru oportunitatea de a fi alături de tinerii botoșăneni într-un spațiu dedicat implicării și dezvoltării personale.

On May 15th, we had the opportunity to visit “Grigore Antipa” High School in Botoșani, where we presented our volunteering program, its goals and the opportunities available for young people through our activities ✨

During the meeting, we introduced ourselves, shared our mission and values, and talked with students about the importance of solidarity, cultural exchange and community involvement.

It was a great experience to meet motivated young people, exchange ideas and encourage them to become part of positive change through volunteering 🤝

We would also like to thank the school management and staff of “Grigore Antipa” High School for their openness, support and warm welcome throughout the activity 💜

Feminismul nu înseamnă superioritate.
Nu înseamnă ură.
Nu înseamnă „cine câștigă”.

Înseamnă egalitate, respect și șanse egale pentru toți 🤝💜

Prin această campanie de informare ne dorim să deschidem conversații reale despre stereotipuri, discriminare și felul în care anumite idei aparent „normale” pot afecta atât fetele, cât și băieții.

Egalitatea începe atunci când alegem să ascultăm, să înțelegem și să punem sub semnul întrebării prejudecățile cu care am crescut.

Campania este realizată împreună cu — primul grup informal dedicat feminismului și egalității de gen organizat la Botoșani ✨
Vă încurajăm să le urmăriți activitatea și să susțineți inițiativele locale care creează spații sigure pentru dialog, educație și implicare civică.

Această activitate face parte din proiectul Connect & Change – Volunteering for Botoșani, co-finanțat de Uniunea Europeană prin Corpul European de Solidaritate.
