Beneficiarii Serviciului de Ajutor Maltez, Filiala Blaj sunt 30 de familii, care au în ingrijire copii si tineri cu dizabilități încadrați in grad de handicap. Serviciile oferite sunt următoarele:
SAMR Blaj ofera asistenţă socială si psihologica, programe educative si informative pentru părinţi, în vederea acoperirii nevoilor copiilor si consolidarii abilităţilor şi cunoştinţelor părinţilor privin
d îngrijirea şi educarea copilului cu dizabilitati, precum si ergoterapie, ludoterapie, activităţi de socializare si recreere, ateliere creative de lucru, grupuri de suport pentru parinti si copii, asistenţă religioasă, atat pentru copiii cu dizabilitati cat si pentru familiile acestora. Misiunea SAMR este de a sprijini atat copiii cu dizabilităţi, precum și membrii familiilor acestora, cu scopul imbunatatirii calitatii vietii lor, facilitatii integrarii sociale si prevenirii excluziunii si marginalizarii. In cadrul SAMR Blaj, personalul angajat este alcatuit dintr-un asistent social, un psiholog si contabil, echipa fiind completata de 7 voluntari, care ofera servicii de specialitate beneficiarilor (1 asistent social, 2 psihopedagogi, 1 educator, 1 kinetoterapeut, 1 preot, presedintele asociatiei).
