On Saturday, May 9th, participants of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Re:cycle, Re:think, Re:Act” spent the day exploring the beautiful city of Timișoara 🇷🇴.

Guided by Ștefan, participants visited the city’s main squares, the cathedral and several iconic landmarks while learning about Timișoara’s important role in Romanian history and culture.

Through this guided tour, young people gained a deeper understanding of the city’s heritage, its historical significance and the events that helped shape modern Romania.

The afternoon offered some free time to explore the city, enjoy its atmosphere and create new memories together 🌍✨

On Friday, May 8th, participants of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange **“Re:cycle, Re:think, Re:Act”** spent the morning in a natural park alongside park rangers 🌿

Through an interactive visit of the park museum and a hike discovering local fauna and flora, participants learned more about biodiversity, environmental protection and the importance of preserving natural spaces.

The activity also encouraged discussions comparing the ecosystems of Romania 🇷🇴 and Reunion Island 🇷🇪, creating meaningful intercultural and environmental exchanges.

🏰 Discovering Hunedoara

On Thursday, May 7th, participants of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Re:cycle, Re:think, Re:Act” spent the day discovering the city of Hunedoara 🇷🇴 and visiting the famous Corvin Castle.

Through this cultural excursion, participants explored an important part of Romanian history and heritage while sharing moments together outside of the usual workshop environment.

This experience encouraged Romanian participants to reflect on their future after high school while giving Reunionese participants the opportunity to discover international study possibilities and new educational perspectives abroad.

Beyond education, this activity opened discussions about ambitions, personal development and opportunities beyond borders 🌍

this second phase of the youth exchange started with a morning dedicated to reconnecting, getting to know each other better and strengthening intercultural bonds after two months apart.

Through icebreakers, intercultural games and group activities, participants shared their first moments together in a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
