🇵🇭 Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan, Pilipinas! 🇵🇭

Filipinos Sing louder! 🎤🎶

Its message is even more powerful today, especially for Filipinos in Qatar and across the Middle East, holding on to hope and praying for peace in these uncertain times.

“Matatapos din itong ating laban
Magwawakas din itong sinimulan
Uuwi rin tayo sa ating mga minamahal
Na naghihintay nang kay tagal”

— from Mula sa Buwan
Music by Pat Valera | Book and Lyrics by William Elvin Manzano

Looking back at this moment with our theater community reminds us that even during difficult times, hope is something we continue to hold on to. Here in Qatar, we stand together, supporting one another and trusting that we are in good hands.

Just like the song says, this too shall pass, and one day we will all return safely to the people we love. Until then, we keep the faith and keep hoping. 🤍🎭

What a wonderful night to celebrate music, culture, and unity! 💫

Tanghalang Overseas Pinoy is truly honored to have been part of the Only Peace Gala Night — a beautiful evening that brought together the Filipino community through our shared love for the arts.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Maestro Dexter De Lara Tumang of Filipino Composers & Music Producers - Qatar and his wonderful team for the creation and presentation of Only Peace, a meaningful composition that reminds us of the power of music to inspire harmony and understanding among people. The night was not just a performance, but a celebration of our collective identity and the enduring Filipino spirit — one that values peace, creativity, and connection.

We are deeply grateful to have shared the stage with so many talented Filipino performing groups. Each performance showcased the diversity and richness of our culture, and together, we proved that art can truly bridge communities and strengthen our bonds across borders.

Here’s to more nights that unite us through music, culture, and friendship. May we continue to create, collaborate, and promote peace through the arts. 🎶🇵🇭
