One of the most important questions we can ask ourselves as believers today is: “Am I using my time well for God’s purpose?”
In Ephesians 5:15–17, Paul reminds us:
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
We live in a time filled with distractions. It’s easy to become overwhelmed by everything happening around us—in the world, in our nation, and even in our personal lives. Sometimes we become so focused on visible struggles that we forget the deeper spiritual battle taking place. As Scripture says, we are not fighting against flesh and blood.
This week, may we intentionally seek God and ask Him:
“Lord, what is the best use of my time?”
Yes, we should stand against corruption. Yes, we should speak up for those who are oppressed and treated unjustly. But above all, may we never lose sight of our greatest mission—to proclaim the Gospel wherever God has placed us.
At the end of the day, this world is temporary, and God is continually restoring all things according to His perfect plan. While we are still living on this side of eternity, may we choose to use our time wisely, faithfully, and for His glory.
