وُلد الشيخ ناصر بن خالد آل ثاني سنة ١٩١٥م بالدوحة وتوفي سنة ١٩٨٦م
تلقى تعليمه على أيدي شيوخ الدين والمطاوعة في حلقات علمية ودينية ، وكان من أبرز خريجي المدرسة الأثرية التي أسسها فضيلة الشيخ العلامة محمد بن عبد العزيز المانع (يرحمه الله ) بمدينة الدوحة سنة ١٩١٣م
أسس سنة ١٩٥١م شركة تجارية توسع نشاطها وحجم أعمالها لتصبح لاحقاً من أكبر الشركات التجارية بدولة قطر.
